Thanks to all for the help and links. I've managed to retrieve the funds into Metamask and Cake Wallet.
Take note that with importing your wallet into a new software, you didn't increase your security. You are still using the wallet that has been generated by Coinomi. We don't know how the seed phrase has been generated by Coinomi and whether they have access to users keys or not. Also note that the more softwares you import your seed phrase to, the more attack vectors you may open for hackers.

I recommend you to create a new wallet with a new seed phrase and send all your fund to your new wallet.

FYI: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/alternative-to-coinomi-android-5466245
More and more coins are going offline so although your funds should still be sitting in your addresses you should probably start moving your funds out just in case.
Do you really want to be sitting there having to deal with a bunch of different coins all at once when everything on the back end stops working.

Move what still works while you can, and then deal with exporting & importing the rest. Before you have to deal with doing them all at once.

I have used it before but I don't store my funds there and after that, I have never used it again. There have been too many issues with coinomi and just heard them again lately and it's not really a recommended wallet to use. So while your funds are likely to be there still, follow the instructions of importing it from coinomi to another wallet where your funds will be visible again and use that to transfer it to another wallet and never use it anymore.

Hi,

I noticed that my balance in my Coinomi wallet had not changed for several days. I clicked Resychronise and suddenly there was a balance of zero. Even transation history has disappeared

I download the app to my desktop and restored using my phrase and although the wallet has appeared the balance is still zero

No response from Coinomi support after 48 hours.

Anyone got any ideas? Thank you

I once lost $200+ from Coinomi Wallet, but mine was from the Desktop version (never figured out how did that happen). since they claim to be none custodial, I don't think their support can/would help you in this matter,  your wallet was probably hacked somehow.

Coinomi is critically insecure and users have previously lost all their coins because Coinomi sends seed phrases in plain text via the internet to Google servers. And as pointed out by others above, Coinomi is closed source trash and slowly dying.

Use this as a wake up call to stop using Coinomi and move to a better wallet. Choose a good monero wallet from the sidebar here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/. Create a new wallet and then send your funds from your defunct Coinomi wallet to your fresh wallet.

I had Ethereum and Monero, and there's no transactions showing at all.

I'm thinking the phrase was correct because I can see my bitcoin transaction history?
It is a synchronization problem, either because their servers are not synchronizing or because of your connection. Always check that the circle is green. If no transaction appears, it is best to extract your private key and include it in any wallet.

 - Ethereum: Download this page https://coinomi.github.io/tools/bip39 run it offline, enter your seeds, choose Ethereum and then derived Addresses find the private key of your Ethereum address.
 - Monero: Download this page https://coinomi.github.io/tools/bip39/ run it offline, enter your seeds, choose Monero. You will get Seed Words that you can use to import them into any Monero wallet as a cake wallet.

I'm thinking the phrase was correct because I can see my bitcoin transaction history?

I tried to check, and it seems that the Ethereum server in my Coinomi wallet is down, the same as Monero I've tried to open my Coinomi wallet, and the coin icon shows red look at the image below

According to Coinomi support red dot means no connection so possible the server/nodes for Ethereum and other coins are dead.

You don't have any other choice but to switch to other wallets that support these coins Ethereum and Monero. To be able to move to another wallet you need to extract the private key from your backup seed phrase you can use https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ as I suggested above and import the private key to another wallet like metamask.

Check this guide on how to export the private key from Coinomi.
For importing private key to Metamask follow this "How to Import Ethereum using a private key"

Take note for safety purposes you can run the BIP39 tool offline to avoid online vulnerabilities.
Once you imported the private keys to other wallets I suggest transfer your funds again to a new wallet with a new backup seed phrase.

Coinomi wallet is dead, or at least is in its dying days. What is in Coinomi that you still continue to use it. It is closed source, It has had syncing issues and a number of security vulnerabilities in the past. Start using a much better open source multicurrency wallet like unstoppable wallet.

You are not the only one facing the ETH issue, check their subreddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/COINOMI/
Apparently there is an issue with ETH balances showing up and no one knows when it will be fixed.

Do you remember what coin or token you have funds?
If it's not bitcoin there is a possibility that the coin or token that you have balance is being delisted on Coinomi that is why after you sync the balance becomes zero.

Also, check the address of the coin/token to any block explorer and check if your funds are still there.
If it's there and it is delisted on Coinomi then you can use https://iancoleman.io/bip39/
To extract the private key and import it to other wallets.

I have never used Coinomi wallet, but are you sure your wallet has not been compromised, can you see any transactions sending funds out of your wallet that was not initiated by you? Because if you are restoring the wallet with the correct seed phrase, then you should see your correct balance.
No response from Coinomi support after 48 hours.
Coinomi is a self custodial wallet, so i don't think support can help you here since you control the keys to your wallet, and it is not a case of many users complaining of their wallets being compromised.

Thanks for replying. It's showing a transaction history for Bitcoin (of which I no longer had any in the wallet anyway at this point), but not for any other coins (for which I did have funds).

Transaction history disappeared? Are you sure you imported the correct secret phrase into your wallet?
