There is a list of rpi images in the first post. Minera was just added and it supports just about everything and has a very active and responsive developer.

I have always solo mined with cgminer 3.7.2 and it didn't require that command in the batch file.
Apparently, as you stated its there in the cg miner 4.3.5 version.

Added it with the wallet address for the scrypt coin I'm mining.
CG MIner loaded and started "mining to a valid address."

Thank you for the info, I never knew that about the older days.

Running my 4 gpu solo on the same coin and it detects network difficulty and network blocks. It also shows hashrate.
No accepted work as a block hasn't been found yet.

The asic has just shown network difficulty (same as gpu miner), is just slowly increasing block height, no hashrate and no network block detected.....or is the block height the block being detected, the rate seems about right. Duh.
No hashrate at all though on top lines....just the 328Mhz the zeus runs.

update: Proof a "Blind Hog" finds an acorn now and then....the gpu miner just found a block with 1/4 of the asics rig hashrate. They're soloing the same coin.

I belive the correct command line for cgminer is

Do not change the "btc" in --btc-address to the specific coin you are mining because cgminer wont recognize that as a command

Don't specify an address when solo mining. If you find blocks, the reward will appear in the wallet after confirmation depending on the coin

cgminer -o http://localhost:port -u username -p password
Or
cgminer -o 127.0.0.1:port -u username -p password

The port will depend on the coin. Usually, you have to specify it with username and password in the xxxxcoin.conf in the roaming folder under windows.

Did you read his post about it not starting because it was giving him the error that the btc addy was wrong! I know alot of miners dont need to have it for solo anymore but his is giving him that error all the same and thats how we used to solo mine back in the day with these programs. So somewhere the cgminer or whatever miner he is using has been ported but those options left in. Savvy?

Cons cgminer repository still shows in the readme to use this command line for solo mining to bitcoind.

I did some testing with the stock psu vs. an atx psu. short story: no effect on hash rate or hard errors, etc. multiple furys use less power with one atx psu vs. several stock psu. if you want to read the whole write up...

The absolute highest anyone (that has cared to share) has been able to clock was 383. This is due to the (silly) way the ASIC is designed. And yes, you'll definitely need to overvolt (no voltage options in software that I know of).

The only way you'll be able to reach 425 is with the use of the bp_clk pins (which don't seem to be connected to anything on the circuit board) and some insane power consumption.

Fixed this by disabling all Serial/Parallel interfaces in the Windows system control. All Blizzards are working fine now.

Had my Zeus Blizzard running for 2 hours. It seems to not be able to accept blocks and work on them somehow. Using BFGMiner 4.3.1-Zeus from Darkwinde since CGMiner-Zeus vom dmaxl doesn't recognize the Zeus either with :auto nor \\.\COM1 setting. Tried multiple pools, clocks, diffs, nothing works. The third MH/s display is always 00.0, I think this has to be 1.3-1.5 because that's the display that tells me the workload, correct?
