The blockchain will change our daily lives. I strongly believe that, there is going to be a massive upturn in the technology with some current projects progressing and others being replaced by newer and faster developing ones.
The blockchain is the only common element that crypto industry and government believe that we should adopt it in the multiple sectors. Thus I am expecting faster growth of this technology in most the countries, if I am not wrong then I think Russia was testing blockchain technology for record keeping of the land.
Even some banks are testing this technology to improve their efficiency. I am expecting smooth growth for Blockchain in the coming decade around the globe in multiple sectors. Even though it doesn't make any sense that government starting any blockchain project because the core philosophy of Blockchain is all about decentralization and I doubt if the government will look at it from this perspective or not.

The blockchain technology, you could say, is similar to the country when word first got out that gold had been discovered in this countries entire industries began to boom in the hopes of capitalizing on the opportunity. The entrepreneurs of that era started stores that sold pans, picks, and shovels required to dig for gold. Larger companies invested heavily in railroads and transportation. Currently there is talk about new blockchain technology which is not -chain- but rather it involves direct acyclic graphs, it has much more throughput because there is no bottleneck as is the case with the regular chain, when new blocks can be appended only to one end of the chain. I think that it has potential to constitute the new blockchain of tomorrow. This technology has even a catchy name which I completely forgot (I am sure it was catchy, though)

I like the picture, nice view of what is now available for us to use, and what will be better for using in some near future. For some of the new things I heard, Brave steemit, ethlance, but for others I see for the first time, I think it would be good for all of us here to introduce more with things we don`t know.
Future of blockchain is in all applications, smart contracts, every company is trying to make their own ico, their own token, all the world can be connected with help of blockchain, apps started before others have some advantage, but that is not final, others are trying to compensate that with better technology, faster transactions, better teams.
