I can't predict the future of bitcoin. At least take a look at the prices - they always increase and decrease. They are not static  Undecided

Does bitcoin has a promising future considering most governments resisting to acknowledge and accept its use in their economies?

I cannot agree with your position that "most" governments resist to acknowledge bitcoin.  There are some but still there are many countries who supported bitcoin.  And many will turn to bitcoin when they see that bitcoin will help their people and their economy.  Time is needed for bitcoin to be well-known throughout the globe.

Is it true only for Bitcoin or for other cryptocurrencies as well?

Is it surprising that this was their first reaction? Indeed, a few years ago, Russia's Prosecutor General said that BTC payments were illegal. And US Congresspeople were also calling for it to be banned. But look at how far we've come..... now Vitalik Buterin is meeting with Vladimir Putin, and a local Russian governor invited miners to set up farms in his province. And the US market is now getting regulated futures products from LedgerX and the CME group.

I heard once that Bitcoin needs to be banned in a few places for it to remain relevant. I guess it means that governments can see that it's gaining a foothold among their citizens. In the end, governments can't stop it. They can't stop P2P transactions, no matter how much surveillance and packet analysis they do. Recently, Vietnam and Morocco have banned the use of BTC. It looks like BTC is still relevant! Tongue

Investing bitcoin now is way profitable than putting it in the bank and let it it. If you can use your own money to give you additional money then do it by trading. If you cannot, just hold it or invest in ICO. This is for me the best year of bitcoin and I know that the future of bitcoin will be a good future. Bitcoin is being spread around the world thru social medias and many will see it. The only problem is some of the countries are banning bitcoin in their country.

It is a perfectly normal behavior, if you think about it. If you work full time you will know this: How often does a new development happen in your sector, and your company is so slow to recognize it and take action and it frustrates the hell out of you? It happens all the time. And a company is fairly small in comparison to a government, which has hundreds of thousands of employees, and whose decisions affect the lives of millions.

As such, you cannot expect governments to react to every single development so quickly. Since cryptocurrencies are getting stronger, governments have started to express their intent to legalize it and/or regulate it. If you browse the press section you can see such news coming from various governments from around the world pretty much every day. So although some governments are adamant about banning cryptocurrencies or keeping them under control somehow, I think the overall trend is good so far.

I am sceptical about government's role in the legalization of Bitcoin but also believe that there is no other practical option for the government if they really want to prevent it from being misused. I am 90% sure that in the coming years, governments around the world will frame the regulations and guidelines for the domestic exchanges and make it mandatory for them to share the KYC details of Bitcoin users for the purpose of calculating the tax liabilities.

I think BTC will be as investment tool and will be like a Gold. Currently BTC doesn't have amazing and unique technology but its popularity is very big.

The future of bitcoin is contingent to all users of bitcoin, users can manipulate what will happen to bitcoin in the near future. But the biggest player here that may flip the bitcoin future is the government they will play a big part to what will happen to bitcoin in general

Bitcoin have their own way to build it's own popularity. Let's take a look on bitcoin value, it's increase more than 10% within a month.
It's more profitable than bank's interest so in the future more people will implement bitcoin in all platforms just like PayPal etc

I agree with you about profitability of bitcoin. But this is not the aim of creating bitcoin. Bitcoin has been created for decentralized transactions and this is what governments don't like it. We should wait and see how governments will deal with it when bitcoin becomes more popular.

As for me future of Bitcoin cannot be predicted. In its early year Bitcoin was crawling and now it’s flying. With each day passing Bitcoin prices are sky-rocketing. So you cannot predict what Bitcoin is going to be tomorrow. As for now just ride with tide.

Bitcoin is unstoppable and no nation can stop it from going some places. Remember China? Did it deter bitcoin from ever increasing its price again after it plummeted because of their ICO banning and closing their local exchanges? They used to be the leader regarding bitcoin's gaining a wider audience, but unfortunately they turn their backs on it. Bitcoin suffer but it doesn't mean its the end of the road for us. Bitcoin recovered and rebounded after that and now we get to new ATH. No nation or government can really stop this tsunami. And remember that there's also country that is accepting bitcoin like Japan and Australia. So the future is really very promising and bright for bitcoin. No doubt about it.

All bitcoin needed happened some time ago already,  when Germany first acknowledged it. From there is nowere else to go but up. Just a matter of time from that point on
