Blockchain is the underlying technology behind all cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum, has a potential of changing the way we work and communicate, making it more secure, efficient, and trustworthy.

Data or transactions once written on the blockchain are open for audit and will be stored there till the end of time. One of the best properties about blockchain is that it helps in removal of third parties in any sort of transaction or arrangement. We are aware that Bitcoin is a P2P digital currency but that is just one application where blockchain helped us remove third parties such as banks or payment services providers. This article helped me understand how blockchain solutions can help in the removal of multiple third parties from an insurance model and how such an elimination can help bring down the cost.

Moreover, since the launch of Ethereum platform, utilising blockchain technology for different applications (fin tech as well as non fin tech) has become easier as you can also create smart contracts over the ethereum blockchain.

Almost every company has a team working on blockchain technology, thinking of ways it can be used for various applications. And seeing the influx of capital in this domain and the number of academicians, researchers and tech geeks exploring blockchain, I am most definitely sure that it is not just a fad.

I share my observations, namely, that now the world banks have begun to implement the technology of Blockchain, the benefits are obvious, the storage of information and the optimization of the process, which will be followed by the saving of money, and where there is saving, the business starts to be introduced, since the euro is saving!

There is no way that blockchain technology is a fad.  How much impact and use it will have is open to debate, but the ability to maintain a ledger without any need for a trusted third party is a significant breakthrough.  I am inclined to think that most of its impact will be invisible to the average person, much as the use of relational databases, or HTML5, or any number of other behind-the-scenes technologies are.  But it will have an impact, and the impact will be significant.

While blockchain is already present now, I think what's important to note is its global adaptation which isn't happening  just yet. With some form of regulation, I think the blockchain will be the most widely used technology for financial and data storage systems soon.

Blockchains, distributed ledgers and smart contracts are definitely not a fad.  Over the coming years they will be used in all manner of applications, financial and otherwise.  At this time there are many projects that are moving through the four P's of innovation - proof-of-concept, prototype, pilot and production.  Not many blockchain based solutions are actually in production yet, but we are getting there.

Blockchain is not the future because it's already the present and when I say this is not because I want to sell something, I say because is the truth.

Blockchain technology at this time I think is not efficient anymore because the increasing number of transactions in block networks whose capacity is only limited often makes the delay of a bitcoin transaction. Now blockchain has created a new technology that is lightning network for a bitcoin transaction, although the technology is a problem in the testing phase but I am sure the new network could be the solution for the next few years although I think the network is more profitable to rich people who have lots of bitcoin in his wallet.

Each country is trying to make the best use of the blockchain as how and where it can fit in their eco-system and how much beneficial it can be for the coming time. Even banks are trying to do transactions through this technology which will help everyone. So future is block chain.

I think in the future all countries will use blockchain technology to transact.

I think it is being used for money, but for many other things we have to see, but I am sure blockchain future is nice.
