OWNR - Store all crypto in one app.
I attended a bitcoin meet-up around my residence last week and the topic was on the various methods which we can draw the attention of so many people to this network, we proposed numerous ideas and propositions. People do not really understanding what the network is all about, and you can forgive them on that, it's really difficult to understand all it entails.

I think if more bitcoin meet-ups are organized in more areas around the world, it'll help to enlighten more individuals that are still apathetic towards the bitcoin network, when they can see and exchange ideas in real life with people who share similar ideas, it could increase their interest.

Actually such meet-ups have been held a lot, but most people who are familiar with technology attend. In my opinion it is too difficult if these apathetic people are immediately introduced to  bitcoin network, at least they must be emphasized with  development of technology first slowly. If we immediately introduce  bitcoin network to them, I'm sure many of them don't understand it.
Some of them doesn't understand it because its literally confusing and we can't tell that it was their fault considering the fact that sometimes they don't open their minds for something new like new learning. Even if we help them recognize bitcoin, it still depends on them if they are going to accept and adopt it. Sometimes having enough understanding is helpful because you can explain everything if they feel disoriented.

All other countries that aren't doing these are going to be behind in terms cryptocurrency adoption, countries like Japan are on the way to making all these paperless transactions all the time. I think its all just imposing it to the grocery stores and outlets and people will eventually adopt to the chances. If they need to install app on their phones, they will have do so in order for them to make transactions.

You got a good points there.

All of us - the people present on this forum all know Bitcoin and all coin famous.
But I think the future development of digital currencies to replace banknotes or banks depends greatly on one of the following factors:
1. Qualifications and knowledge of the people. Because the majority of people today do not fully understand block-chain and technology. So if you want to use cryptocurrency like paper money today, all people have to know how to use technology

In order for a certain technology to propagate, there should be a widespread information campaigns and seminars.  This may take sometime and a huge amount of budget but I believe it worth it.  The question is who will be the one to do such task.

2. Smart phones - Must be integrated with technology to make it convenient for people to use

Smartphones.. yes almost every capable teenager wanted to have a mobile phone.  Having technology integrated in this will certainly brings this technology nearer to the prospected audience.  Mobile phone is one strong tool for adoption.

3. Simplification of cryptocurrency developers. How can people easily use like paper money.

There is nothing more annoying than a non-user friendly apps.  One of the reason why most invention failed because they failed to make them user friendly.

I could add one more, government acceptance and support.  Anyone can create great idea, technology and inventions but without government acceptance and support it will be a hard road for adoption.  The government saying yes is like a house with open door which means, adoption, development and adaption will be much easier   because there is someone with stronger power will support the  project.

Thank you for responding. Currently Bitcoin exists despite being banned by governments. So for me personally, even if it is banned by the government, it still exists when our needs are needed

I guess it will all start with the smartphone.

I know some people would say like, why start there? This is my explanation.

I live in a third world country and obviously, not all of our people know how to use smartphones. Being in a Facebook post is a big thing for them, they are still not waking up to new technologies since they are still in the place where they are used to what they have. If they can't use smartphones, I don't think they will be able to use the internet and without those two, they can't participate in the future of digital money. That is why it will all start with a smartphone. Slowly, it will be the start of it all. China is already starting.

I think this is nonsense.
1. People do not need to know how blockchain technology works in order to use cryptocurrency as money. Do you really need to know the economic theory of money to use it?
Check this:

2. Integration should first of all go through credit cards used by most people in the world, and only then should these credit cards with a cryptocurrency payment method be integrated into smartphones. Or payment by QR code via a smartphone, such a technology already exists.

I can have a mobile phone but I do not have credit cards..  That is the advantage if you implement the technology on a smartphone.  More people will have access to it.  Isn't it the purpose of adoption?  Making the technology more accessible to the public.

You own the pen
it doesn't really necessary to have all the people learn the latest technology. we only need 1 person in a single family to know how blockchain technology works. when we successfuly educate that much of them, then the plan about using digital money will have a higher chance to be implemented. we already have some stable coins. the next update will be some countries implementing the use of digital money  along with their national currencies.

And what do you think about my opinion?  Wink

I fully agree on the potential of smartphones towards widespread use and acceptance of Bitcoin, cryptocurrency in general and the blockchain technology. Tied to the popularity of smartphones is the coming revolution of the Internet-of-Things (IoT) which can be synergistically working with the blockchain and cryptocurrency as well. In short, the smartphone can be acting like a hub for the user to access all of these technologies and developments.

And when we are talking about education, things can now be simplified as more and more people are carrying smartphones. Now, we actually don't need (though it can be a good advantage) for people to fully understand cryptocurrency beyond the basics or the "what's-in-it-for-me" level what is important is that people understand how they can participate in cryptocurrency and how they can claim their stake on it.

Any new technology that can game-changing will always have a learning curve and can face resistance on the market but after getting around the critical mass level things will be changing. I am expecting the same thing can happen with the blockchain and cryptocurrency especially with Bitcoin.

1. This is a natural supposed to be known fact that innovators should naturally know. Nothing would become famous if no one even bothered to know how to use something after all
2. Integration with technology is a yes, but it shouldn't be generalized to smartphones. You never know when technology could create eyeglasses that have cellphone UI's in them that can be controlled using some kind of external mouse that can be outfitted in your palm or something similar. It can be pretty much summed up that any innovation in the current world would most likely be connected to technology.
3. Its pretty simple to be fair. Its just that people are too ignorant on how to use it. Of course its development could be wuite complicated but if its just usage, then anyone who could study it enought should know its basics.

Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general will grow despite:

1. People not knowing how blockchain technology works just as they do not know how money really works. They only need to know how to spend it. Creating and exploring Facebook is much more complicated than using a Bitcoin wallet. And besides, it is always either you bend or you break. That is one truth in life.

2. It is not Bitcoin that needs to adjust; the smartphones do.

3. Cryptocurrency development is a very complicated thing and only selected individuals around the world are capable enough to get involved in it. The rest do not need to know, much less learn, crypto development. As I've said, people only need to learn how to spend and perhaps keep it securely. Well a choice of wallet may take care of it. Crypto is much easier to use actually. They don't even need to count the change or do mathematics every time one spends, unlike with fiat.
