If you invest in dogecoin then you never know how long you need to hold the coin and there is no guarantee that its price will rise in future and its price is going continuously low so its very hard to trust it for making an long term investment.
This is a shitcoin. Don't even think about buying it. You'll regret it in the end. In the long years of it's existence i have not seen any progress about this project. Developers are lacking of hardwork and i think they've abandoned the project. I don't see any updates about this coin. I've been holding it for months. Doesn't get decent profit from it. Doge just surpassed by young and useful altcoins in the market. Doge is just a pump and dump coin to me. I don't understand why other exchanges are not delisting this coin. There's no future on holding it.

Although Dogecoin is not my favourite coin but this coin is good coin for many peoples views.I think Doge coin growth is very low.Now this coin is pumping.I hope this coin is perfect for long term holder.
Dogecoin is not a favourite coin you are right buddy, my opinion this coin is good for long term investment , we can see this coin an old one and the price is quite stable .
With real projects coming out, I have to feel dogecoin's time has come to an end. We won't be seeing big pumps again.

The key to coins that are pumped is whether they are easy for the pumpers to accumulate in advance, and doge fits that bill.

what project do you have any references? as i seen that this coin only got some movements when btc rises up, because of its low fee that's whyits been used by some gamblers and some people who's taking some arbitrage trade between exchange to another exchange, don't see any value
after that though.

I do not think Dogecoin will have a good future. It's just a joke at the begining. It will be better to change a name and have a better developing plan.
if the btc rises to $ 4500, the dogecon will also gain strength again. he is doing it already in 2013 and will make it also in 2017 and 2018. I think it is now even a good time to buy doge and hodl .

As the price of bitcoin rises the role of dogecoin can become more and more significant cause of the total supply of this coin, and limitied decimals of bitcoin. This is becoming an issue even now, so in longrun I see future for it. Cheers

Actually if you just read the most recent news about Dogecoin, then you will see a few things since November last year. The most important was the introduction of the old and new developers who committed to giving it a new update. Litecoin and Dogecoin anyway are somehow linked, as Litecoin provides security to the Dogecoin network, so I know that it won't let this old altcoin die. Wait for January!
I thought bitcoin has link with dogecoin. But it's still a good news. What do you expect to happen in January?
I do not see great future in Dogecoin
the possibility that the team from the Doge management is still silent is not impossible this coin will be eliminated from the crypto market by itself, because we know so far there has been no initiative aimed at promoting the development of Doge in cryptocurrency.
in my country there is the title of life shy away did not want, maybe that's what happened to dogecoin, its development is very slow, its price keep going down during this 3 months, we see what going to happen to dogecoin

Aftr reading all the comments learned it's Satoshi Nakamoto's fault for not doing anything about it's development. Also another reason people's attention diverted to some other currencies. So tto go up it requires both dev sided and user sided push.
