It is good coin for long term investment. At the same time it is better to buy several different coins that have big capitalization

As of now, Ripple has a steady price of between $0.90 to $1.10. It's currently undervalued but has a lot of room to grow because it is centralized and lots of circulating supply.

There is no doubt that it will grow for many years to come, like a few dollars every year. The growth of XRP is slow but steady. Expect that it wil fly when Coinbase finally adds Ripple to its roster of cryptos.

If your intention is to go for a decent time with your investment like a year or more maybe, then sure Ripple is a good solid investment for profit.
But do remember to cash it out when you can or when its the right time, as its kinda centralized and kills the main purpose of digital currencies, hence its good for trade and earn some traffic.

If you are a beginner in the field of crypto currency, then it is better to invest in bitcoin. This is the most reliable solution. Buy bitcoin for 12 000, and next year sell for 60 000. This is profitable))

The total amount and price of XRP are already too high, so I would not recommend continuing to buy XRP, you can invest in some new ICO.

I think the ripple can be considered as a potential investment. When it comes to price ripple, the numbers are quite positive to the present, although it has undergone a bit of fluctuations like Bitcoin but it is slowly returning. This explains why investors are very interested in this cryptocurrency. Price of ripple have risen to nearly 4,000% in the first half of 2017, a huge figure. Ripple has a management company, the company believes in possessing superior technology and claims to be able to handle up to 70,000 transactions per second. Its potential is quite good

Personally, i threw a hundred bucks at it just to see what it would do months ago.

It was one of the currencies that gained the most during the big BTC correction so far. Extremely impressive.

I also put the same amount into stellar lumens, hoping that it's more egalitarian brother would do well also.. so far, it has not impressed me.. but i am trying to stay patient!

Totally.. You can definitely minimize risk by buying a few hundred bucks into Ripple just so you won't miss the potential bull run in the future.

yes you can buy Ripple very small quantity at current level and more buy when it fall and comes at 0.80$-0.90$ because it jumped more that 500% in last 10 days so its possible to come down at this level. And as you seen that Ripple connects banks, payment providers, digital asset exchanges and corporate via RippleNet to provide one friction less experience to send money globally. Its future looks very bright so you can buy more quantity as your choice for more profit.

Ripple is a coin with great potential in the long term. Currently, a number of major international banks have signed agreements with Ripple.
The technologies of Ripple differ from Ether and Bitcoin. Now Ripple is actively moving in Southeast Asia and India.
All this testifies in favor of investing in this coin.

Ripple is not XRP and that's my main value concern when it comes to XRP. Plus I don't want to support the bankers.

In Ripple's model there are benefits if all the banks decided to use XRP but they can choose to go with Ripple but use their own coin. Imagine the price of XRP when some banks announce they'll use ripple but with their own token.

Even though Ripple transact within seconds, if a bank receives 100 million USD to send from EU to US. They convert it to XRP, send it to the new bank which converts it back. Let's say it's worth 50 k USD less/more now. If a couple of banks team up and create their own token (which is not publicly sold) with Ripple they won't have these volatility problems.

Plus I'm a bit skeptical that the banks would allow XRP to become too powerful. If all the banks would start using XRP, why not use a small, free, new service instead of a bank that also uses XRP anyway?
