Examples of banknotes, banknotes are made of paper that is of no value. But many people want to own it and from now until the paper money is still there. Another example, gold or silver. It is just a stone, but gold and silver are precious. So from the beginning until now gold and silver are still used. Like crypto, crypto is something of value. so crypto is a valuable new invention and will always be there forever.

My prediction for crypto is, the development of cryptocurrency will grow rapidly in the future. And several countries will accept cryptocurrency as payment alternative in their country. But the banks will be the main enemy of Cryptocurrency at that time.
Indeed spreading popularity of bitcoin is a sign that soon bitcoin will increase more in the whole universe at very high demand, as much people are showing interest for bitcoin is shows that soon bitcoin will appear as most acceptable currency and it will become legal worldwide. Bitcoin has high potential and the more it is getting famous the more it is getting high price and huge profit for investors. 
I feel that major of the crypto currencies especially the top ones may outperform and also reach new highs. The other alt coins will start moving in the long term and give good returns if holded long. I also think if the majors move the other alt coins also start moving gradually.
The crypto-economy is still nascent and is riddled with high volatility because it's mostly used for trading and speculation. Therefore, the trend experienced in previous years will keep on repeating itself until we go mainstream and get some level of regulations. What I mean is, thee will be periodic moons and then the time of bearish markets when investors will pull out funds or profits for real world use. Until we can get most real world stuff with virtual currency, we will continue to witness pull out of funds. But overall, cryptocurrency will continue to grow and expand.
I am not crypyo Expert but the present situation of crypto is not so good or not so bad but the future will very bright for crypto.my own prediction is bitcoin will reach $25000 at the end of year.

For me it is really hard to think of a price like that, we need to see heavy investment coming in from big investors to see a rally like that, i expect the price to go higher and by 2020 there is halving coming up and basically the price should go higher and i am sure it will cross the ATH but not sure these speculations will come true, if it happens well and great but it is too good to see a price like that in two years time.

the future has only 2 options for cryptos I think they will reach so many high prices where holder would become millionaires and coins great companies new google or fb and the other option they would be zero
I think cryptocurrencies would be impossible to become zero in the future,instead there will be more newly cryptocurrencies that will appear in the future.Bitcoin will still have its top position i guess if people will continue to use bitcoin and idolize it for a more longer years.

There are many who predict the currency crypto for the future because the world of crypto currency has been very influential on the country that has begun to accept the currency. I think in the end fair cryptocurrencys distributed equaly to everyone will take over. Why? It is not about airdrop marketing bullshit but about reaching an equilibrium in time and space that allows billions to join. Common cryptos cant possibly scale to billions of user because only a few million late adopters are insane enough to take too high financial fiat risk to even join while early adopters can profit out anytime, that kind of pyramid logic is too heavy to grow further than a few million, no matter what the promises are.
But what If everybody could join without the need to take financial risk at all? That kind of crypto could scale to all menkind, as long as it delivers real value. Search for "cryptoubi". My favorites are "duniter", "joincircles" and "ubic-repo" ... but there are more cryptoubis out there, about 20 projects atm. If just one of them can deliver, than i see a fast migration away from those 1600 pyramid currencies
