decentralized social media is gaining momentum but i dont think it will completely eliminate the existing networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

We humans adapt to what available resources there are. We never stop improving, that's just it.

When news breaks in the future, it will be covered by a multitude of eyewitnesses streaming live video. These streams will knit together into a single immersive video, enabling the viewer to virtually experience the event in real time.

Human beings are now completely dependent on social media, it is difficult to imagine if there is no social media is what kind of society

Obviously we haven't seen the last of it and social media is evolving. Decisions are now being swayed with the information we get from social media. Previously we had friendster and multiply. Then facebook emerged that changed the landscape of social media. There probably would be another one like facebook that will come out not long from now

I generally try to minimize their presence in social media. I just have too little free time for this. But I know some people who can't do without communicating through social media.

I hope the future social media would future posts. Allow those positive and helpful and disallow those who will harm it's reader.  To help those in need.

I am really excited to see what kind of social media would sprung up nowadays as almost all innovations have been integrated to thwse platforms. Facebook still has a stranglehold on these as they are the pioneers and its easy access gives people something that other platforms cant.

I think ORKUT and TWOO different function, for online dating.
Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp now in one roof, mean they are own by Mark Zuckenberg Company.
Three of these also has different function.
Twitter for spreading the news rapidly, like we want to know the traffice jam then we open twitter account that has information for traffic jam, if we want get updates about Music Event than we follow account about music event.
Telegram is competitor with WhatsApp, that two has same function, Telegram was created by Russian Company, I also have Telegram and WhatsApp even we know most of us still use WhatsApp, but all bounty in this forum use Telegram to get new information about ICO. But I more like Telegram than WhatsApp because Telegram can send every files mean while WhatsApp only can send music and pdf document.

My opinion, use wisely every social media.

I think if we are proper use of social media, it's good source of bright future. Everything has positive side and negative side. There are many kinds of social media like Facebook, Twitter etc.Social media so much useful to us at the same time it's harmful to us.it can be depend on your use.if you proper use social media it's very useful to you and your future is successful.

With the massive social media making many countries restrict the use of social media, this is because if too free can become a state threat, in addition to many negative side of social media such as used for illegal activities.

I don't think at all that these are the best I think they are the most succesfull. Social media is peer focused. If you have a celebrity using your social media then you can expect their fans to also use that same platform.
If you have your friends on one platform then you naturally also join that platform.
If you then have celebs and other people on your platform naturally businesses will want to join your platform to sponsor, advertise and so on.

I think there will at some point be a social media shift, generations change and often when it comes to social platforms its the young generations that will set the tone and pace for where and what platform. If young people suddenly think privacy is important then they will migrate from facebook.

Businesses will just go where ever young people go because they know they can profit allot from that group of consumers.
Parents will go where the young people go because they want to be up-to-date with their young ones internet activities and possibly moniter them.

I think that when these platforms first arrived that it was very hyped and everyone's friends were doing it. But you hear it more and more that people are generally dissatisfied with facebook and their policies (from young people). Some even regret making an account in the first place. It can still take a while though because the conveinience is that everyone uses these platforms. So it will take some trendsetters to migrate.

Businesses actively track social media platforms userbase and look out for where the trend is going and what platforms are favored.

Yes in the future there will be a new social media but will not override the existence of facebook, twitter, instagram. Humans have started to have unexpected ideas, and they will definitely create another new social media with different features of social media that exist today.

I think we are depending on social media day by day.In future, we can do everything in social media.It also effects our daily life.

People never stop learning and we are never contented so I think more social media sites will be developed in the future.

There are so many social media's available now a days. You may have heard or used ORKUT and Twoo. When they were started people were saying these are the best social media platform but when Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Telegram and Insta etc came into the market they rocked or you can say change the era of social media.
