I think with a large market share and broad coverage on Samsung it will affect the price of Ethereum a little more

It is just a wallet for storing your cryptocurrencies, it is won't include any blockchain.

Then why they claim it to the first blockchain phone ?
Bitcoins and other crypto currencies can be stored in any andriod or iOS phone. You can download Bread wallet and store you bitcoins in iPhone and it is much secure than Samsung.

There is a rumour that Samsung Galaxy s10 phone blokchain mode will not include Bitcoin and its Blockchain. It will include only for ETH and ETH based tokens. Is it true? If it is, then I think it will be big wrong. What do you think about it? And I guess it may affect Ethereum price well...

Can you give any proof of this news ?  If Samsung does not support bitcoin then that will be a huge failure for them. You cannot claim a phone to be blockchain compatible when there is no support for bitcoin itself.  I think Samsung should include Bitcoin in the S10 model.

It would be a total disappointment to all the crypto users that wanted to have this new Samsung S10 that they first thought would have the Bitcoin in its blockchain mode. The Samsung company should clarify this first if it is true.

Basically went to my local Samsung store today to play around with this phone. They had the S10, S10+ and the S10e. I played around with the S10 which cost $1250 CAD.

Unfortunately for the life of me, I couldn't find any type of Blockchain, Ethereum or Bitcoin wallet anywhere on the phone. It has some tutorials at the menu which can show you some cool features but Blockchain wasn't mentioned anywhere. Neither was it in the Knox area, or the default Samsung apps.

Searching "blockchain" only found the Blockchain.info default wallet from the Play store. Hence I don't think this will lead to a high price boost since I can't find this blockchain wallet when I actually was looking for it , why would someone who isn't looking for it, find it, learn about Blockchain and then go and buy some ETH or BTC?

This would be very strange business decision of Samsung so I don't think this is how it's going to work. But on the other hand I don't understand why so much excitement on the mobile phone feature. I don't believe that this built in wallet will be something that will motivate people to buy that phone or that it will be better than already available all kind of Bitcoin wallets. It will probably be more cosmetic features than real wallet where you would keep your coins.

It seems to me that Samsung realized that the crypto-sphere will develop, and in order for the company to remain in trend, you need to cooperate with this topic! Bravo samsung! I am sure that all companies will soon begin to copy this, like Samsung.

This question may sound stupid, but...
Why people even care about the built-in Samsung wallet? Almost every major crypto wallet have apps for android and ios so is that a big problem to install one? IMHO that news are way overhyped.

I don't take that too seriously because I don't want to buy Samsung s10 Grin

I cannot buy something with an expensive price and only have a fewer benefits for me because I don't want to spend my money to buy something that is not worth my life. There is so many cheap android phone which almost have the same things with Samsung s10, and you can buy it at a cheaper price.

Like others have said, the Galaxy S10 will not be connecting to blockchains - it will store private keys with encryption. The bitcoin blockchain is just too massive to be downloaded onto a phone. However, as the Lightning Network improves, I'd like to see lite client integration with it by major providers.

whats the point of downloading the whole blockahain into a phone ? your right size is freakin huge but most importantly , most phone users will not care of that feature if ever it will be included  .  its already fine if the phone supports a hardware wallet because that is more important or useful than the blockchain  itself .  though i agree on you when you say lightning network integration because ln seems more lighter and will also be useful .

They can simply roll out an update, or you can simply download a new wallet if you want to. Tbh I don't really think this phone is such a breakthrough, maybe only help in promoting about crypto but not really sure how they can do it if most people already know or hear about crypto, either Bitcoin or Ethereum.

So far I only see this as a pumping news for Enjin though.

You don't have to rely on rumors. The phone is already out and people have been testing them and releasing video reviews.
The phone includes what is called blockchain keystore and at the moment it only includes ETH wallet but the whole application even has a similar logo to Bitcoin.

They were releasing this in a hurry and included only one coin to test it out but many other coins will be available in the coming months. Some of them have already been announced. It's only a matter of downloading a software update.

There's no official information that they won't include Bitcoin!

Thanks for clarifying, there are lots of rumours going around about the new device and how it incorporates the blockchain technology.
I for one do not think it would have much of an impact on the cryptocurrency market, it us a huge step, and would attract more interest to the blockchain.
I see it as another rung on the ladder ti mass adoption.

Yep, it won't include it by default, but it should be a relatively trivial task to get it to support it.
The big winner from the Galaxy S10 crypto marketing scheme is Ethereum.
Nope. The biggest in Enjin (ENJ).

https://hacked.com/this-pump-aint-over-why-enjin-coin-is-still-bullish-after-galaxy-s10-confirms-enj/

That coin has a massive pumped after the news that Samsung will include them in their crypto wallet. But I will speculate that they will include bitcoin in their list, it's the number coin so it doesn't make sense if they will simply left it and will go for Ethereum as the flag bearer for their wallet.

OP,  is there anywhere Samsung made a public announcement that they will include Bitcoin and Blockchain in their product? 'You heard a rumour' glad you called it a rumor. You guys shouldn't let stories like this get you.
Just because Bitcoin symbol was added on Google keyword on iOS does not means that Samsung should follow their lead.
Whether they include it or not, Bitcoin will reach it highest level.

Come back here when you have the actual facts. You don't have any links whatsoever in your claim so I think there's nothing to argue here.
