They are the one who's running the system they will decide how much money can gamblers win and how much they can lose.

Good one, this is the reality in gambling, not everyone loses money but more people are losing money, hence it makes casinos to operate more profitably. We should be aware of the reasons why gamblers loses more than they win, that would help us to minimize the risk in gambling.

With discipline and proper bankroll management, our journey will be shortened as in a short period of time, we will already lose a lot of money.

I'd actually be more surprised if gamblers won more money than they lost tbh. It's actually quite natural, since gambling is in a sense, paying for entertainment. The entertainment we mostly gain from gambling comes from mostly 10-20% games, and the rest is that "chance" of actually winning money. It's like the concept of "winning money" is entertainment, which is actually quite understandable tbh. It's like the concept of "winning" is the entertainment for most other games, especially competitive ones. Not really surprising why most people would consider winning money the biggest factor why people gamble.

Not really? Even with multiple winners, casino would still win in the end. Ever heard of house edge? The only reason why casinos continue to run even with the multitude of people winning big amounts, other than the other side where a lot of people lose out a lot, is because of the existence of a house edge. You may judge it to be a small amount, but really it's pretty big, if you're still in doubt, look at how people actually won against casinos, it's not based on skill or luck, it's based on them asking the casino to remove house edge. This involved a bit of negotiation though, so it's a pretty rare case.

It’s inevitable that house always have the edge, and this means their winning is higher than ours. So, we will lose more than win and if those who continue for a long time might lose more as read that statically if longer you continue to gamble for a very long-time chances of losing keeps on rising. You are pertaining to a PVP game on 1 winner or do you mean a battle of player to the casino itself? Casino get most of it profit from house edge because it's the only sure profit for them in all bets no matter what is the result, This is also the reason why most of the casino is still on this business because they can secure profit overtime as long as they have a huge a bank roll. In order to beat a casino, You should have a bank roll bigger than them because you will just lose when the game duration becomes longer due to human error that will take effect over time.

Its a sad fact, gamblers are losing their money more than winning. But despite of this, it didnt stop us from playing either for self satisfaction that we gamble or for the hope that we can somehow recover what we lost and hit the jackpot.

Regardless of the reason, gamblers are willing to take risk and ignore the fact that we can certainly lose our money.

It might because of the excitement that it can give when you're already playing. Nevertheless win or lose its our decision to gamble our money.

What the title said is true. The gamblers lose more money than win, and many people trying to playing gambling longer will lose their money, and they will not have a big chance to recover their losing money. This is the fact that we should accept that majority of gamblers are losing and going to lose, it's business, they are here to offer entertainment and excitement on all their games, and the house edge will make sure that the house can sustain their operation.

Oh that is true! Gamblers lose more money in the process especially if you continue this habit in the long-term.

What I usually mention in similar threads like these is the so called "gambler's illusion." This usually starts when a person gambles and he suffered a loss. After experiencing such loss, the person will attempt to recover his losses thru gambling again his resources. He will not stop until he recovers or if he has exhaust all of his money. If, in the event that he recovered his losses, he will MOST likely gamble again and then the cycle continues from there.

I just hope that people who gamble have the discipline and self-control regardless of their result in the casino. Money is indeed tempting but it has the potential of destroying your lives completely if you get blinded with such fact.
