you have to accept that people will always have different opinion , some people always want to be realistic and ignore everything smells like supertition or any other non sense things and just believe on something that they can prove and see it clearly .

but yes it should not be a big problem whether you believe it or not , the debate are not necessary.

I respect all gamblers that has their very own belief and opinion. It's good to see that there are gamblers that are becoming lucky and believes that is because of their superstition belief. I don't have any against them, as long they are experiencing good result with it and it helps them to have good amount of winning, that's fine.

lol of course it should not be a problem at all , a realistics people just questioning about that non sense faith and sometimes mocking on it. just a fun thing i guess when you believe on some ritual could give you a win , and especially it looks working well.

the realistic one will prefer to gamble on sports or maybe just stake randomly on random games.

Superstition is based on their beliefs and there culture.And I considered that superstition is working sometimes like lucky charm that give you a good mood.

agree.. i dont think everyone believe in supertitions. you have a point that sometimes it depends on ones culture. just like some chinese. they have this part of their culture and beliefs that if you want to be lucky, you have to have these lucky charms or bracelette to wear. so i guess some of them tries these lucky charms in gambling.

There are some that lean towards the positive as well. There are some that, when you do or see something in a certain situation then lucky or good things would happen.
Like, from my place:
You unexpectedly get two egg yolks when you break an egg then you'd be lucky for the day. Or,
During new years, place some coins on your windows sills then money would flow in for the year. Or
When you dream about numbers then those are lucky numbers and you'd win on the lottery/bets.

When we play gambling superstitions will not help really because the reality is to play with your enough skills and lucky winnings will just follow through. when i am wagging a bet in sports i might have a bad day and if so i usually take a good break and come back at it later and usually i used to recover my loss in the coming week and it is not because of any superstition but it does take some time to analyze things and if my mind is not clear i might not doing the calculations correctly and so is the reason i take a break to clear my mind.

You way to win is to avoid being superstitious, there is a chance you can win in sports betting since it's a game where no house edge. I like sports as well and I believe we can only win if we will take this seriously, having said that, we have to be more realistic and only based our decision on what has come up with our analysis on the figures that we see.

Anything related to money has superstition too playing a major part. If it's sports, many people believe that if they don't watch the match, their favorite team (the one they have bet on) will win and in casinos, even today people believe in lady luck. It's just a myth and gambling is itself a game based on luck which is again a superstition. There's nothing like a lucky thing or an unlucky thing.

I don't believe in anything being lucky or unlucky as it's just a risk involved that plays a role in gambling. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's just a strategy that works.

But different culture people might be having different interpretation here. Overall following supertition just a way of enabling our factor come into effect. I do not know how effective it will be. But we do see many people are believing in to this and following it.

On the other hand, having confidence could also have a bad effect on your gambling, there's such a thing as being over-confident.

Almost gambler have many superstition like they don't want to a viewer in their side. But i don't believe in that, if someone gamble if he/she luck they win but person lack of luck they do not win because gambling is depend on the luck of a player.
