Well, even if the player is extremely lucky, and luck comes o him all the time, he will still lose in the long run because the house edge will eat the bets soon. Math always win in game of math vs luck xD
And what math is telling you exactly? If you think that it's telling that no one can be in profit from gambling, say, 30 years in a row, you are wrong, my friend. Math can only tell that the vast majority, say 99.99999% of gamblers, can't be that lucky for so long. But there are 7.7 billion people in the world, and with this number of tries almost anything is possible. That's why we have so called "professional gamblers" who, supposedly, know how to win, and that's why we have "saints" who, supposedly, perform miracles, etc.
In short, math can only tell you that a gambler will most likely lose in the long run, but the same math can tell you that there is a chance, although extremely small one, that he/she will never lose.
