I'm pretty sure that OP's image isn't specifically gambling, but rather just a scam image instead. The idea kind of looks similar to how gambling works, but gambling is in the end, for entertainment and we as gamblers, are aware that in the long run, casinos will still end up as winners (unlike in scams, you think you're a genius when in fact, you're an idiot). Still, I think it works if we consider how as I said, casinos win in the long run, though the image imposes more of a scam (not to mention people can hit jackpots in casinos).
If we were to expound it, I am sure that we can understand what gambling does to the greedy people in this image. This is an oversimplification of the process of how a greedy gambling addict will spiral into destituteness so there it is understandable that someone might misunderstood it.

OP the image speaks it all, very impressive and those pictures says the perfect story. Only handful of people can make quick and easy money from it provided they are lucky to make it and considering the others got it and we will also win is the wrong psychology. Just play for enjoyment and you will be good and not fall for it.

This is a good illustration that most of us are aware of but no matter we still believe we will win big someday and maybe we will hit that life changing jackpot.This is what keeps us coming back at gambling even knowing the house edge is always there against us.
This is just the real fact and the truth about gambling, gambling companies will never lack but always gain from people, the more people that gamble the more they will gain, that is one of the main reasons people should know gambling is risky. Some people can think they know about gambling and that their case can be different, but no case if different. If you use your property to gamble, you can lose all and most likely to lose all. If you use all your money to gamble, you can lose all, and most likely to lose all. If you use low amount of money to gamble, you can lose too, but this will still be better because you lose something not much, in a way you can not think about it and let you have the right mindset to gamble, and luckily possible a day a jackpot can be won unexpected. We should not use what we can not afford to gamble with.

It doesn't prey on greed in my opinion because if you are gambling then you are already greedy because you want to take your chances on making fast money.
