If its illegal gambling, government still have no power over it because in my country its protected by government officials, police and military, they get protection money from it. I do no think that gambling will stop in this world. It is a very huge and profitable business to those who do it right. Aside from that, some government get supports from this activity and lots of charity were being funded by gambling.
