Actually gambling is not only a source of living . But it is also a way of fun and use money to grow in different way .
Overall I was usually made gambling just for fun and sometimes to return my loss in past gambling .
But at new year I left gambling . I hope I remain definite at my promise at the whole year .

Well it would be hard to make gambling a source of living as there are no sure way of earning from it. Living for gambling is just as bad as that means you are already addicted to it. It seems that with the two choices, they're pretty much the same as it means that gambling is a major factor in your life already. So might as well go with the gambling for a living as it at least in a way you're gambling professionally and without much emotions involved compared to when gambling is already your life.

If you aske me if I am one of the two option ( gambling for a living, a living for gambling) I would say none of the above. I never use gambling as the way to earn a living, I have my jobs that can support my family. And definitley not a living for gambling, i will never put my family on the line just to play gambling. That act is insanity !.

Note: For and from are two different preposition that give different meaning when used.

I do gambling because i have needs and i want to earn money fast yes im gambling just to live and to support my daily expenses i don't say that i can really make it every day sometimes i lose badly but in other day i get back what i've lost last day thats life if you don't stop you have future someday.

I didn't do either, living for gambling is such a great problem, what I understand is that you are gambling with your living money which seems will never give a good benefit to each people . Gambling for a living could be good but only for those people who seems gambling is their profession and has enough money to gamble but still I don't it could be easy as instant .

This is possible and there are really people who lived just on playing gambling only and they are making decent money in able to sustain their needs on daily basis which is really unbelievable thing because we all know its really hard to maintain to make profits on playing gambling but there are really skilled and lucky people could able to handle this thing.

Me either I don't gamble for a living and as well as I don't live for gambling. But those people who are making gambling as a source of their living are those people who are really dedicated to make gambling as a profession. And that's why gambling is making themselves to keep on going. Even though I am hoping for some profit with gambling but not that for a living.

I Do not Think that both of these are good things. I think those two things are not a good thing. But I saw no one better, that gambling for a living, it is better than living for gambling. Why? because at least gambling for a living means you're gambling for the continuity of life, you make money for your life, for your needs. Not like living for a gambling which means you spend your life just to gamble, there is nothing good at all. Both of these clearly have a different meaning, but not a good thing, although at least there is something better.

I don't think they are not so much different. In fact when you are gambling, you aim to win something or probably want to because you need it. You always have to do it because you do it for a LIVING. When you say living for gambling, I think you just are in the moment. The people who like to gamble and lives with it as entertainment, that they cant get it out of their system. Somewhat addicted to it but it's their lives.

Yes there are some pro gamblers who lives on it. And they really depend on winnings. I know some and they actually have people who works for to play in gambling. Well as you've said these people are rare. For me by definition, when you say a person is living for gambling, these are the people addicted to gambling and can't last a day without engaging in any kind of gamble. I think these people are the ones that suffer in their lives as the effects of their addiction. The people who are gambling for a living though would be those professional gamblers, like professional poker players that actually earn big money enough to support their lives with it.
