From the beginning of my experience I was afraid of the idea of becoming a gambling addict, especially since I had a bad experience with alcohol addiction, which required me a great effort to get rid of. Then, by virtue of my knowledge of scientific research, I understood that behavioral addiction is one of the most dangerous types of addiction that can afflict a person. In general, I have not achieved significant profits from gambling, and most of my experiments are to test the platform’s features and verify some functions. Being here on the forum has always motivated me to continue learning about the gambling industry and enjoy gambling as a pastime without it becoming an obsession.
Unfortunetly, many gamblers are addicted and cannot control their desires. Most of them have bad experiences with their mental condition (addiction), but many of them also live with their illness and have not stopped gambling irresponsibly, despite all the harm they have suffered as a result. Personally, I consider losing money to be the least harmful of gambling addiction, because the addict’s entire life will change, even if he is constantly winning.

We're on the same page as part of the club of not-so-lucky gamblers gang. 
Those that have decided to make money on it full time, they are the ones that will face serious toughness of how it goes. I don't even want to try it anymore because I did before but to no luck and chance. Some may just be really lucky with how it went for them but those that are trying hard, we have no idea how they're dealing with frustrations and acceptance but if someone is going through to that point, you have to decide whether to pursue it or not because it is your time and money that are at stake and not others that are just there to talk to you and give tips on how you should deal with your own gambling battle.

There is the logic that if you chase more for the profit, the chances that it is going to go away is higher. But if you think about having fun, then the chances of luck coming to you is much bigger. I have no idea about this mantra and karma but it seems to be working to me sometimes. They might not be as big amounts as the others but to feel and experience it personally is seriously fun. You'll never know if yours bets are about to win and for me, I just gamble the way I want it to be, win or lose and everything is still fine. Right, what this means is that if a gambler does not want to experience various stresses and strains then the only way is not to focus too much on winning in gambling, because obviously in the end this mindset will only lead you to various actions that tend to be excessive consciously and unconsciously and I'm sure when you manage to win in one of the sessions you do then most likely you will apply greed in that situation which as we know that greed is always a bad act and is prohibited in gambling.As you said, gambling is a lucky activity, meaning that whatever you do and no matter how hard you pursue victory in the end victory only depends on luck, so this is the reason why gambling is always recommended to be used as a place of entertainment only.

I did it twice but not in sports betting.
One was a max multiplier in a slot game. The other was x3000+ in a different slot game. The same as you, I also don't bet too high and try to just have some fun. Honestly, I am targeting games that only have $0.1 as the lowest bet, I don't for games with $0.2 as the minimum bet, for me those are expensive.
Recently, there has been a change in the minimum bet amount in different slot providers. Hacksaw Gaming and Massive Studios both increased their minimum bet to $0.2 so the number of slot games that I can play now is reduced. Still, I was able to find some entertaining games from other providers, thankfully.

Gambling is designed to bring us pleasure and fun, gaining profits is only a bonus. However in reality, gambling can only bring fun if we are winning our bets, otherwise we will only be losing majority of our bets and end up depressed and devastated. That’s why if you think you can’t deal with a lot of pressures and stress, I suggest don’t enter gambling. As much as gambling can bring us quick profits, but it has also the potentials of getting back our profits most especially if we keep chasing for bigger profits and never get satisfied with small amount of gains.

Well, I have said this more than once on this forum: I am not among the lucky people in gambling who have won jackpots or won a very significant amount like $1k and above at once. I have won some big little amount like $100 and more but have not won a huge amount like $1k, but I have seen people win even more than that amount at once. I don't use the winnings of other gamblers as motivation for myself because I know that my luck and theirs cannot be the same, and if I want to be like them, I can lose myself in the process.
One strong belief I have is that my success cannot come from gambling, and that's why whenever I am gambling, I don't even put my mind fully to it, thinking I will make millions or thousands of dollars from it. I love to have fun with the money I can afford to lose. That's how I handle gambling now, but I will not deny the fact that in the beginning, when I just started gambling, I also had the thought that gambling could make me rich one day if I win a jackpot. I don't have such thoughts again because am now facing the reality of life and also taking up responsibilities on my shoulder. I was just deceiving myself back then to believe that gambling can make me rich.

There is no doubt about that, gambling can be profitable sometimes, but those profits can only be good if the gambler has always considered gambling a fun activity like yourself because if you have a limited budget, gamble only when you want to have some fun, and never chase your losses, you might enjoy the profits that you may get sometimes from it because you wouldn't have significant losses.
For people who gamble a lot and lose large amounts of money in it very often, they wouldn't have the same feelings for it because even if they manage to get some profits some day, it wouldn't look like profit to them because they have already lost so much more than what they might have won, so it's just like recovering a small percentage of what they have lost in gambling.

You are not wrong. Winning is not when someone win a bet but when they cash out the money and spend it on something. I have several winning but I hardly cash out because most of the money I won I later lost it. They are small amount of money which I can not even think about at all. But it is good to know that gambling is for fun but I do not see it as a potential means of making profit at time ares. This is what some people will think and use high amount of money to gamble. When they lose is when they will know that this is not true most of the time.

But there could be gamblers, not saying that they are addicts already, but they risk big money=big reward, simply as that. For me I once do a max bet on my favorite slot machine and it really give me a huge payout, not a bonus or something but just regular spin, a $10 per spin goes to $4000 win so that is a huge profits on my end.

From the title of the topic it's clearly that I'm someone who considers gambling a fun activity but I can't ignore the fact that for some people gambling is quite profitable as well. I'm referring to very lucky ones as that some people because most of the gamblers get inspired after hearing their stories.
I've made some profitable bets especially in sportsbook but I won't consider those much profitable because the bets I have placed were of low value and that's why the earned profit was also low. Most of the profits were with very low odds and that's why I just ignore those profits and enjoy the fun part of gambling.

Personally, I really want to enjoy playing slots, because I only think about the result. I don't feel emotions of interest, I just sit and wait for a good combination to come together. Perhaps this is because the gambler does not control anything in the slot.
And if you press the Auto-spin button, then you can generally leave to drink coffee, because the game starts playing itself.

We can admit that gambling can be profitable but we must remembers that the profitable will be less than the lose. We can see many gamblers lose their money than they can wins some money so we can takes the lesson not to playing gambling using much money. Whether we use much money or some money, we still have a chance to win but we have a big chance to lose our money and if you don't wants to gets lose much money, you must limits your money and stay away from the big loses. Mine is no because I have made exponential losses in gambling until I started to gamble just for fun. A friend told me one thing and I also noticed it, if you bet with low amount of money, you will win but if you bet with high amount of money, I guess you will be less reckless and you will want to choose the better odds but you will notice that you will lose it. Recently again I use small amout of money on a 2.02 odd game and I won it but I can not use huge amount of money for it but go for low odd and which losses is also possible with. If you are gambling with small amount of money and you are winning, continue with it, do not use huge amount of money to gamble.
I think everyone here or almost everyone here can relate to that, I mean there's no way that you'd risk your whole life to bet on something as crazy as profitability in gambling, there's no way that it counts because the risk involved is just too much and at the same time, it's not possible to do it so easy. I don't get the point of people raising this bullshit of a statement, yes it has some profitability in gambling but will you be risking that when you know that there's more chances of you losing your money rather than that of winning any money, this will set a misleading precedent that people are going to be really thinking that it's possible that they can be the person that's going to make money in gambling when the reality hits them, it's going to be too late for them.

Some people can risk a high amount of money in gambling, and they are fortunate to win big. I don't take such risk and my income is not too high. I just believe that one day I will win a jackpot or lottery. Every gambler had a lucky day, and it might be a big win.
Gambling is just for fun and it is a game that will cost you money. I'm not saying gambling will be profitable because I see many of my friends who have lost money and even their families due to gambling addiction. That's not a good thing. After I asked why he was addicted to gambling, one of the answers was because he believed in lucky days and jackpots. This is an illusion that makes a person addicted to gambling. I don't deny that there will be some people who can hit the jackpot and become millionaires, but I'm sure it's only around 10-20% of all gamblers. There are lots of fun and excitement when it comes to gambling especially when we make huge wins. I myself I'm not always lucky during my gambling activities and I guess the highest win I made from gambling is not even more than $1xxx 
and since I'm not a steady gambler, just in when im less busy, i dont get enough time to make strategies. I'm only good in sport betting which I think most soccer fans on this forum are too. It easier when you know your team understand their capabilities. Well I still am happy with the little wins I make from my gambling activities even though I'm not always lucky like some of my friends who always gamble.

while I have had my fair share of winnings(some sizable, at least for me. Also, the majority of those winnings are not from online casinos) I don't think I have experienced "exponential profits". one would have to be extremely lucky to experience "exponential profits"(it would be nice if I could experience it).

Yes, there's a lucky winner in this forum, he won Lambo round 9 on Freebitco.in, but he choose to receive the reward in Bitcoin instead of Lambo. Based on the screenshot he get 7.4 BTC, that's a good amount of money, but he's also a high roller, so it doesn't really sounds profitable.
