Gambling should always be entertainment but not a money-making machine, even while gambling i never consider it as serious money making one, even i have absorbed many people have lost their money through gambling because gambling is the riskiest one which we cannot estimate who is going to win. So we should always consider it for entertainment only.
Most of the people not using the gambling for entertainment to be honest that is the reason we can see that people were getting addicted and losing all their money while betting.When someone thing gambling can give us easy money in long term then they can consider it as an investment but they cnnot succeed even if they are much lucky in long run because we can see many people who won lotteries became poor by playing again and again.
Gambling in most of the cases start this way as an entertainment but soon after for many persons it becomes an obsession if they lose money because they want to recover, once this start becoming an habit you have just become addicted and you should ask for help.Gambling can be very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.

Hey this question cannot have a universally accepted answer as each one will have a totally different view towards this question. In my case as a gambler I consider it as a form of entertainment, part of my leisure activities however others may consider it as a way for earning money quickly. Also those who’re running casinos will consider it as a business, as they’re investing money into it for profitable returns.

Gambling is not an investment(Business) mode and no gambler should think that way either, let a gambler see gambling as an entertainment which by doing so, s/he can fight against addiction and in-return win unexpectedly. My mindset on gambling is, gambling is purely an entertainment.
Yeah, course gambling is an entertainment medium. Gambling is never a business. I think gambling should be taken as the medium of entertainment. You should not earn money through gambling. But recently, many have taken the money as a means of earning money. They invest more money in gambling. But earning money through gambling is a financial loss. Because there is no guarantee of gambling. There can be a financial loss at any time here. So I would say gambling must be the medium of entertainment.

Gambling must be for entertaining but all is depend on how we treat this and how we act for this
Gambling is an entertainment, but a challenging one, there are losses and winnings in gambling, and that makes it more exciting.
For non gamblers this could be a waste of time, but they have no idea how much entertained we are when gambling.
This kind of entertainment is a risky one, so one has to be matured enough before entering gambling. (that's the rule to follow)

Actually gambling games is just for fun and testing my lucky but does not mean i won't make money from gambling games because i made betting my money in gambling games, so i have choose the service gambling games which have big chance to getting money, although it is just for fun but i always use strategy in gambling games such as money management and management of risk losing my money in gambling games, they have protected from losing alot of money in gambling games. For me, I use gambling as a form of entertainment and having fun with some money. I don't think that gambling is a business or source of income to make money because people don't have a good chance to make money. If there is a person claim that he can always make money from gambling then maybe he is one of the luckiest people because we know that playing gambling games needs the luck to win.
When you are considering gambling as part of the entertainment, you will know that win and lose will happen to you and you will not be sad although that sad feeling will come to you, you never think seriously about the loss. But unfortunately, many of us don't realize about this, and they still want to make money from gambling and still come back to the gambling places to try to win the games. As long as you can think that gambling is entertainment to having fun, you will be fine to come back many times.
Gambling is too risky to be penetrated, the consequences may give you hardship to act unusual due of attaching this game seriously. Because gambling is very entertaining that anyone have to take the risk even it can lead them to failure, but some gambler's are giving theirselves dicipline to control the emotions and it is a wise way to evade from loses. And I think gamble is about self-control and skillful to manage the possible consequences.

Gambling is a way for entertainment. We go to parks, watch movies, play games to get excitement, thrill and be entertained. Casinos could offer the same emotions when gambling. It is portrayed bad because many people see it as a way to earn quick money. Of course it is a way to earn money but, not always. There is no guarantee in returns as in business.
Gambling is a business for the casinos but should not be a business for a small gambler because its risky.
All things in life is risky . we must face the risk so that we can improved our life . gambling can be profitable to some but some are not . if you think gambling is not good for you then better if you stop doing it .

Its not about greed that drives them to do gambling . like for example me , im not a greedy person but i play gambling because i only want to earn a profit . if i won i will quit and call it a day but if i loose i still quit and ill accept my defeat .

I look at it as an interactive form of entertainment. If you want to watch a movie, you pay how much $8 per movie and that will last for 3 hours. I look at it same way, it might look expensive but we have our own way of entertaining ourselves. The profits that we get from it is just a bonus if we are lucky enough to win. Gamblers don't really invest money in casinos, they deposit but don't consider that money as an investment.For me, gambling is just like entertainment because as what I have experienced I enjoyed to gamble rather than in that day chasing money just to have a source of income. House edge is not easy to defeat so that is not good to treat as a source of income.
The casinos aren't hiding their main purpose for the creation of their business, entertainment is a big industry and including casinos they are in the form of that. IMO, entertainment is also a business.

Not all gamblers have the same thouht about gambling most of them knows how to make money in gambling and some of them gambling is already there business. I play for fun and money that’s the reality but I’m just setting my limit always so i can still gamble without stress in me.

From investing money? Are you pointing to the usual gambling here or putting money on a sh*t site?
Risking money to play on the usual gambling is not really an investment. Any investment should have at least return which is not the case when doing gambling. Gambling professionals might take that as business but they have their own meaning of "investment" pointing to gambling.

Just take a wild analyzation at the general approach of most the gamblers. One thing for sure, we do gambling to expect "money" in return.
