I agree that it is self control what people must enforce in order to stop gambling. But this thread is about the right or wrong of gambling. Our religion considers gambling as a sin. Its also considered as one of bad karma. So for us it is wrong.

I think its tough to make money in gambling. Since it totally depends on luck and not any skills we can never keep on making money - we will lose it if we keep playing more and more.

I never think of that, gambling is the hardest thing to do when your aim is money. Maybe when I was new I was too aggressive in doing it but my
experience teaches me and I have learned a lot from it. I like gambling now doing it for fun as there are a lot of games that I can enjoy in the community. Sometimes I did the same mistakes in the past again when I'm upset but never blame gambling for my loses or call it wrong.

Yes and it is always depend on the situation if you thing your are on studying then you money will go to gambling then its a wrong thing because your only a student you dont have job but if you think that you are financial freedom then its good to gamble because it is your own money,  own freedom.
As stated when you gamble with the earning you've excess than your required amount then it is not wrong. Some gamble with over confidence of winning with the money which is used for daily needs. In such situation if lost he cannot overcome the loss in a short as well living gets ruined. We need to realize and take part in it.

There are proffesional poker player and you know why are they called like that? because they make profit from poker and they are good at it. he thing about gambling is pretty much black and white therefore when we actually know that we cant really win , there will always be someone that is lucky enough to win huge amount
but still those people who keep getting a win in gambling and make it as their income are still few , mostly gone wild lost everything rather than get a win in the long run. so i wouldn't take it as a parameter whether gambling are the right way to make money or even for the sake of having fun. idk , but the truth are people always consider gambling as a wrong thing..
We don't care what they have done to their loses because that is the sum of all their greediness .Gambling is wrong for the people who are in a wrong situation and wrong thinking. The winners who take the profit play and run who are in the right way . The result will be either wrong or right upon experience and result of our bettings .

Sometimes professional poket got busted too.  At the end of the day, it is still a chance and not a guarantee of winnings.  In gambling we really never knew if we will win or not so that definitely contradict your idea.  Because if we know that we will win then it is not a gamble at all.

Its wrong in some religions. I dont know may be wrong. if dont know when stop then yes its very wrong. Some people lost everything with their greedy. First money then home, honor and finally life. Even there r bet for wife. Its disscusting.

I bet for money but if i was rich then bet for just fun with small amounts. Gambling addict is another problem too.

So i think wrong or not its all up to u. If u know when stop and do not harm anyone for gambling its good but if u r greedy and steal or harm someone for gambling it is very wrong.

As long as you enjoyed it and never have a negative effect in your life or other peoples life then gambling will never be wrong.  In my point of view, there is nothing wrong with gambling but the people around it is responsible on where it will take them.  To much gambling that result in obsession or addiction is wrong, but as I said gambling is not to be blame here but the people who can not control themselves.

Yes, thats is right. Gambling is just an entertainment not an addiction. I do not have any time to be addicted to gambling, I dont even have money for it.
I just gambling in some sites that have faucets in them, I just used my faucet bitcoin to gamble so I can avoid getting addicted to it and using my own money.

The only thing that attracts everyone to a gambling site is that possibility to win a lot of money from it and nothing else and all the casinos are feeding everyone with enough offers so that they will come in and play and fulfill their greed so that they could make money in the long term and that is what every casinos do.

There is no such thing as responsible gaming. If you gamble then you should be aware that you could lose. We can have so many strategies that we can use however in the long run it is not going to help. All games have house edge and the only game that I could think of , that doesnt have house edge is " investing " in the gambling site
