nice joke i think no one will like to lose their money because every one is trying day and night to make money, people play gambling for making money and not to lose them but most the time they lose instead of winning. so they bet again and again which make them addicted and they continuously loose money in gambling so it become bad for them .

Everyone wants to make money of course but the big problem is because of our desperation to make money we tend to shift to a more faster way of earning money like in gambling, with that kind of thinking we are just like fooling our self as although the result is very fast in gambling but making money in gambling is not easy.

You are only looking on the positive side of gambling which is winning but in reality we lose more than we win in gambling therefore we cannot blame those people who call gambling as wrong and these people have already big loses and they do not enjoy gambling. But on the other hand, despite of the many loses more people are still enjoying.

Those who treat gambling is just a game, and it made for our entertainment. They will enjoy the games, and they will get more fun in this gambling. For them, the gambling is not wrong. But those who play for money for them this gambling is wrong. Because the winning percentage in gambling is very less.

Actually the correct answer to this is both,

It is beneficial in a way of giving fun, and excitements in gamblers feeling.

but because of that feeling, gamblers might tend to get caught up in addiction does makes more losses in the gamblers part.

always keep in kind that there are a mere chance of winning in gambling so don't expect that you will win more than what you lose in it.
