In Islamic it is forbidden its mean that It is wrong. but for other religion and states I have no idea.
Here comes the religious people. Gambling, by definition, means putting something at risk. It's forbidden in your religion to gamble. But I do wonder if it's forbidden to invest in alt coin trading, invest in some company, etc. All of them are basically gambling because you did put your money into something and you hope that it will return much bigger than when you put it.
I don't have any story to tell but based on my knowledge gambling most of the brings you loss instead profits. So as long as you avoid gambling then your safe.
I think it is also depend when you are a lucky one.
