well i cant say that it is wrong if you do it to keep yourself entertained and your main goal is not to win vast amounts of money but if you gamble huge sums then i guess its not ok

I don't gamble but I can tell you from now that gambling is not Beneficial at all , you will eventually lose all and it doesn't matter how much you earn because you will end up losing them all because of GREED.

I think that it depends on luck most of the time so you can't rely on gambling as a stable source of profit, you are more likelky to loose more than earn benefit.
i dont think that gambling is wrong as people can spend the money they earn wherever they want and how they want they just need to be careful not to loose everything

It depends if you are a poker played there is a high change you can win. But poker is a game that you will just lose all if you win so yeah.
But I think gamble is more 50/50 you win or you can lose. So it is not that bad.
It's not wrong per se. Some people actually know how to make profits out of gambling and made it their living.
People like that are really rare and they know when to raise a bet.

Gambling has its pros and cons just like anything else. The scale is tipped on cons side though.

I understand you are not seeing gambling as a complete wrong thing. You must be a satisfied gambler as you are not always playing for money but only 50% of your gambling. I believe this must be good idea of having safe gambling with out any frustration of loosing money. Because you may get some profits too when you gamble for fun.

Yes you gamble for some times and you know when to exit the gambling then it should be OK but most of the gambling will chase down the winning until they lose all their money so it is wrong. Yes even though they are playing with their own money but it is a good idea to gamble until one lose all their money.
