not exactly, there are gamblers(I know someone personally) who know and admitted that they are addicted to gambling but chose not to take any help because the urge to gamble is too strong. these kind of people are almost impossible to help and the hardest to rehabilitate if they ever to choose to go to a rehabilitation center.

It must be their own way of willingness to choose to rehabilitate themselves, and not through the advise of anyone else. Addicted gamblers chooses to be like that, and nobody urged them to become that worst. What happened is destined to happen, so it must start on their own because if they knew how to start; then ending it possibly will also have a definite solutions in order to stop the underlying problems.

Yes, like what I've said, it's better to start from yourself than regret it when you already lost a lot of things especially your family. Take a look at those advice and experiences of the other people who already suffered from gambling addiction. Definitely, every risky decision that you're making, there's a huge consequence on that so better keep in mind that we should have a moderate gambling activity. If you want to earn profit, I guess it's better to find a real job than spending a whole time just to win in gambling.

You must understand not only the fact that a person who has realized his addiction and illness is able to get rid of it himself. And for all other players, it will be useful to listen to other people. Especially those who themselves got rid of such dependence. They will be able to teach you how to want to get rid of the gambling habit.

I am also a witness to a gambling addict who lost everything she owned but never knew why she did it.

My aunt gambles her money because she wants to forget her husband who is a ship captain and she obviously thinks he sleeps all women at every port. Until my aunt became addicted to gambling. A very unusual way of her but its what she did.

because I can't imagine someone gambling his life so easily! I like to gamble, but there are limits, you
can't gamble with the money you don't have!!!

It depends on how the family makes actions. Of course, not every family can help them. Like you say, sometimes the family can trigger them more. But there are families who know how to handle this kind of situation. Your family members are the ones who can first see the changes in you, and they are the ones who can give attention to it. Personally, I think that friends are just friends. They don't have any responsibility to you unlike your family, but you are still lucky if you have that friend who is willing to help you overcome your addiction. Just like what they say, your family is always there for you (although it does not apply to every family).

We have a different perspective and I understand yours. Actually, it depends on a person's life whom he thinks can help him cope up with his gambling addiction. And for me, it's my family even though I am not addicted to gambling.

Some of the people who want to help the gambler to recover from gambling addiction are forced to do bad things like using brute force just to carry the gambler and give some advice etc etc. Most of the gamblers don't even realize that they are addicted already. I have experienced getting addicted into something already but not gambling but in playing online games. I spend most of my time playing and my sleeping hours is heavily affected too. Fortunately, I've managed to recover from it and now playing at a specific time.

For those gamblers, seeking help from different experts is the best thing to do if you really want to recover from gambling addiction.

If gamblers can only afford reading and understanding this thread?for sure many will be saved from losing money and losing their future .
there are many gamblers that cannot really accept their problem an instead continuing as if there is no problem at all.

nope those you have mentioned only "Knows" that they are addicted but they are not accepting it because if does?for sure they will seek help as the problem is very serious and need some help.

For me, the family of gambling addicts is the one who can say if the person is addicted to gambling. And they should be the ones to help them.
