There are some people gamble and lose. if you ask them why do you gamble? They will answer you "just for fun"
They know they are loser in long term and no strategy works, but continue to gamble for fun.
How can enjoy something that you know you will lose? Is losing money really enjoyable? Isn't there any other entertainment you can enjoy?
I think these people are still hopeful of winning back previous losses or they are addicted. Gambling cannot be just for fun. There are many free games too.

Yes l agree that gambling is not just for fun. People use to gamble expecting for wins. Because some gamblers are just hoping to win in every game. But people saying its just for fun because they only play for not a long time just for their past time.

It really is not fun when you lose money when gambling but it is fun and also make you happy if you win especially huge amount of winning that is why gamblers wants to gamble to have fun. In my own perspective gambling will bring you mix emotion like happy or having fun and also sad when losing huge amount of money.
It really ain't that funny if we lose in gambling and I don't know how people just consider this as for fun.
Basically, we come in here to make money and to win the jackpot prize, that is the main reason why we love this game and why we spend money and time in gambling. Losses are common things to happen but people keep on trying and trying for the sake to have luck and win millions someday.

"Gambling for fun" is just a lame excuse made by losers in the game, while in reality we know that people are gambling in order to make profit from their initial bankroll. It's not really that hard to know the real intentions of a gambler, as we all know what's waiting on the other line if luck is on our side. Perhaps those people who are bored to death yet are extremely rich have the rights to gamble for fun and entertain themselves, but for the rest of us? We know that gambling for fun is a joke.

So, there are different people now, some are just looking for fun thru gambling and some are make living on gambling for sure. Making fun with involving money especially on the risky way which is gambling is not really okay for me (since I don't have a lot of money).
Everyone should have a stable, well-paid job. And such people perceive gambling most often as entertainment. But if you want gambling to be the main means of livelihood, then this should not be entertainment, but work.

Gambling is not about fun and not all about losing to there is also a time where you can win. Some people may gambling to have fun most especially rich people since they have a lot money but there are also those who gamble to make money or should I say easy money because some really want to become rich in an instant and gambling is a way around but that is if you are lucky.
Free games on the other hand is nice but if a games includes gambling then it is a little different, different in the sense that it becomes challenging and thrilling knowing that money is at stake unlike when you engage in free games it becomes boring in the long run.
I think gambling isn't just about the rich. Gambling is not a game of the rich, everyone has their own way to be fun, just because they are poor does not mean they cannot be happy from gambling. fun could be achieved in gambling even if you lose or win, poor or rich.

Losing money is not enjoyable, but gambling is never about losing only. Even when you are betting with very high odds there is a chance of winning, always. That's where the fun is.

Now, the main mistake addicted gamblers make is that they confuse chance with guarantee. Although you always have a chance of winning, it's never guaranteed. Even when you are betting with 98% win chance, you can lose 3 times in a row and more. That's how they lose big money, thinking "I can't lose again! I'll definitely win this bet or the next one!", and bet again and again until they lose it all. While gamblers who are there for fun think this way after losing: "Well, no luck today. I'll try next time maybe."

In short, there are two kinds of gamblers:

1. Those who can accept their losses and move on, who gamble to enjoy occasional wins, and who never chase their losses. They are there for fun. They are realistic.

2. Those who are there for the money. They are so "cool", they never take a loss. If they lose, they know they must recover and win even more the same day. They are delusional.

Everyone's thoughts are different about responding to gambling, it could be used as a hobby. they not only have fun but also have their own strategies and techniques. no gambler wants to lose, it's just that defeat is considered a common thing.

This made me think a little more. Wait, gambling is intended for fun first and foremost. Part of the fun is the possibility of winning and therefore making money. The excitement found in gambling is related to that very fact, that in playing, you could win prizes. That is basically a bait of course. Everybody needs to realize that. But the thing is that it could be won. And there are people who have actually made it. This makes losing a bit worth it because there is a certain goal that may be hard to achieve but still achievable. Even the thought of almost winning, which is essentially the same with losing, could make the gambler play once more.

That's exactly how it should be.

People should play and game for the thrill of potentially winning. Gambling and taking risks gives people an adrenaline rush, similar to playing dangerous sports or taking on a thrill-seeking adventure. If you think about it, getting that same thrill from gambling, even if you lose a small amount of money is still cheaper than paying to go sky diving or doing something similar.

Because of that, people should always ensure that they are having fun or at least getting excited about winning. If there is anxiety and you feel like you're risking too much, then you're doing it wrong!

I think you are getting the wrong idea with what gambling could be for you. There are multiple reasons to why people still gamble even if you lose 19836492027495 times. To understand reality and how the process works in our minds, you have to study neurology, for sure, but let's talk casually.

  • The feelings we experience during gambling is addictive (adrenaline, endorphins, etc). That is what we call Buying Entertainment
  • Future Potential Rewards type of program(Games are somehow made to be addictive)

The best thought could be that it's not all about the money, but what people feel when gambling is more appropriate.

Sometimes saying they gamble just for fun or to entertain themselves but losing too much money is just an excuse for some gamblers who want to hide their true purpose.

Well I also gamble for fun but the money I spend is an spare money and I dont chase my past losses, if I win then I treat it as an incentive.

For me playing games with money involve is more exciting compared to those who dont.

Well Gambling was built for fun although people viewed gambling as a place where you can double your cash quickly while having fun and this is the reason why people getting addicted to it and sometimes this is the main reason why most people addicted to gambling ended up losing mostly in financial means and their credit score in banks but the most devastating is the family and friends are moving away from you for being gambling addict. Some people using gambling as a source of income too professional gamblers go to the tournament to win grand prize especially in poker. So, i think gambling isn't just for fun anymore at these days...

If we will just open our mind and be realistic, we will know from the very beginning that we will never win in the long run, unless we are exceptional like those gambler who make a living in gambling. When we play, that means we are having fun, but if we loss, we need to accept as its part of the game where we loss or win. It's not everyday that we loss so that's alright as sometimes when we gamble we also end up winning, but like I said, in the long run we will never win but if we appreciate our winning moments, we will certainly enjoy gambling even if we will have to lose money in the long run.

We love to gamble but we will more happier if we can win, that's the real satisfaction for gamblers who gamble for fun.
However, the reality is different, most of us gamblers are losing our money, and even our hard earned money in gambling because we have lesser chance of winning compared the gambling house, for obvious reason, which is the house edge.

Therefore, if we like to have fun, we should be open that we will most likely loss when we gamble, at least no major expectation and we are being realistic all the time.

The best way to have fun is playing in a physical casino not online, but if we can only do online, it's still alright.
It is really the best but we should also consider the reason why we are gambling, physical or online gambling.
Because there are some people who are only looking for fun while working, so they can do online gambling instead going to any physical casinos.

So, there are different people now, some are just looking for fun thru gambling and some are make living on gambling for sure. Making fun with involving money especially on the risky way which is gambling is not really okay for me (since I don't have a lot of money).

Those people who always say it's for fun probably gambled less than the regular gambler sometimes it's fun with promotions and competitions but from my experience it's rarely fun even when you're winning.

Free games on the other hand is nice but if a games includes gambling then it is a little different, different in the sense that it becomes challenging and thrilling knowing that money is at stake unlike when you engage in free games it becomes boring in the long run.
There are free games that aren't boring some of them have incentives to encourage players and if you're playing with your friends there won't be a time where these free games would be boring. The point is that free games can't be enjoyed by everyone, some will find alternative options on what they think is fun for them.

This is a normal situation when people want to spend money on something that is not very beneficial for their health or financial condition. Someone spends money on alcohol, cigarettes, some other habits. Gambling is no better or worse than any other human habits. It all depends on the nature of a particular person. Despite the fact that gambling and everything else are addictive, it does not cease to bring fun.

If a gambler just do it for fun, he would not think of recovering his previous losses, he will be happy even if he wins sometimes.
When we have fun, we always allocate funds for gambling that we are ready to lose, just like having fun in other activity, we always pay, so let's condition our mind that we are also paying to have fun in gambling.

The best way to have fun is playing in a physical casino not online, but if we can only do online, it's still alright.
With online gambling, we can choose a variety of games and a type of games, even sports, we can easily bet through online, so its still fun.
