You would think that the poor ones wouldn't gamble since they have the least amount of money and they can't afford to lose any of it. On the other hand, they are actually the ones that gamble the most. Why? Because gambling is rampant in their place. I've been in so much poor neighborhood and it seems like gambling is the number one source of entertainment. Anywhere you go, people are gambling. Lottery outlets even have a line going on. Even kids are playing card games since that's what they see the older people are doing. Instinctively, they think it's right. That's how much gambling is dominant in such places.

I think this falls under the usual scenario where people find it normal to gamble and it's really accessible to them. They see other poor people hitting the jackpot in gambling and be able to have a taste of wealth but it's gone quickly (since they spend it right away). That gives motivation to the rest of the gamblers. Another thing, they are using gambling to distract them from reality. And the sad reality is that gambling is so rampant in their place that it has become part of the culture and the lifestyle of the people.

For the record, though, poor people have the most pressure to become rich. They were born and raised thinking that they have to turn around everything and make their parents proud by making their family rich. Sadly most doesn't end up having enough knowledge and experience to get a decent job so they resort to trying their chances in gambling.

It is just into two situation that will fall one is losing and the other is winning but there is no guarantee that the chance in winning will be positive.

sometimes it is just luck, when its your day then your lucky. knowing that you have limited  source of income will be hard for us to bet a large amount of money.

I see you have a point that below standard living people should not engage in gambling specially if they have a lot of expenses for their daily needs. But this kind of people are the ones who want to gamble because they think that winnings from their bets will be a big help for their daily expenses.

Doing gambling is really not a good idea. For me people who are qualified in below average of standard living has no right to gamble especially that is not stable in terms of source of income.

It has two thing in gambling either to win or to lose so how can we have money if the probability of winning is not guarantee to happen. Also i believe that its just a matter of luck if its your day then its your day.

You should always carry the amount in wallet which you can afford to lose in gambling. So once that amount you have is done you would not gamble or think more about it. Also another thing is that rational person would realize if its their day or not and then accordingly you can continues or stop it.

there is luck in the gambling, and there is a gambler that can have their luck work in the game so they can win the game with big money. but still, the luck factor not always on your side, and we don't know when the luck is coming. gambling can make a loss and wins for every people no matter if that person only want to feel to play the games or that person is a pro gambler. but in the end, the casino will always get the benefits from the games because they still get big money from the players.

That's probably the reason why some of us get hook in gambling, we are challenge and we want to make different strategy to figure
out how to win constantly. Sadly, it did not happen, we did not notice we already spend enough with our experiment that will never bring us good results in the long run, instead, it will only ruin our life if we do not limit.

I agree, because once we gamble and we just have a limited amount of money to play we can possibly lose all of it and nothing left to us, it is hard if we just have limited amount in our pocket when we are playing once we get attached in the game it will be hard for us to stop it immediately even if we don't have enough money.

As we see gambling falls into two category:first is you win and other is you lose.

It is not predictable,  also it doesn't count your efforts.  So if i were you do not gamble if your money is just limited.  Gambling is just a matter of luck so if you are just looking for fun do not wait your money on gambling it will not help you to gain money.

This is the way people treat gambling as a source of income and due to which in greed to recover the money you play more and then you lose more. But if you had played to enjoy yourself you would have not worried about it.

First I gambled on soccer betting, I won big and it was very fun, but after that defeat after defeat approached me until all my money ran out and I started to debt

it still only a few people that could win all the time and so far, the rest of people cannot win even for one or two times while he played. and if there is any person that could do this, I am sure that his luck is on his side so he can win the games and the money but like you said, I don't think that person can win all the time especially if he is an addicting person in gambling. it is difficult to always win the games even if we have a high-skills in the gambling games.

I don’t think there is someone who is lucky in gambling and wins all the time, gambling is designed to eat all the money of gamblers that is why casino is poppinh everywhere. And gambling is for entertainment in the first place its the people who thinks that its a shortcut of getting rich.

I recently played blackjack. I bought in with 100$, I have a system I use 1,1,2,2,4,6,10 you multiply that much until you lose and then you go back to you 1 bet, well I was doing 10$ hands and got to my 10 bet, caught an 8,and an 8 so I had to split, so buy this time I now have 2, 200$ bets out there, well with the first 8 I caught a 2 and the 2nd 8 a 3 so I doubled both, making it 2, 200$ hands the dealer was showing a bust card, caught a bust card and busted, buy the time I left I left with a little over 800$ in proffit, 400$ of it was in that one hand!!!

When we are talking about gambling, we shouldn’t say that luck is a temporary thing and if you would say the same thing in front of an intense gambler, maybe he would slap you on your face because they are playing gambling from the start just because they were lucky in it and beside this they have nothing in them so saying this in front of them would be a dangerous thing.

In gambling the major thing involves is the probability which is equal for both winning and losing sides. If you set for gambling with dice or another game poker or card game then you should setup your mindset which can lead you to both sides either in the positive or negative. You can win and you can be busted it all depends upon your decisions which make your luck.

If someone who don't know when to stop can keep some strategies like allocating some money for that day to betting when that all money gone he need to get out but many players were trying to recover their losses in that time they forget that they keep losing more.In gambling most of the time we are going to loss if someone can't accept this then he is not suited for gambling.

Majority of gamblers are losing all the time because they don’t have set limits for themselves in gambling. Setting limits is very much important for every gambler no matter how much experienced he is in order to save himself from financial crisis that he would have to face when he would lose money more than that he can afford to lose.   

Luck is just temporary, that is the reality, if a gambler would only rely on his luck and he plays long term then for sure
he has no chance to win in the long run. Gambling sites are operating with a purpose of making profit, hence it's hard to beat them since they have the edge.

No doubt that majority of the gamblers are losing all the time rather than to win the game. I don’t know the reason why this is happening with them but they still are not willing to leave the gambling for their own good. I think they are not lucky enough in case of gambling and maybe lucky in other fields of life and wasting all of their luck in gambling which is useless puts them in deep troubles.
