I'm a little curious, are there any mythical sentences above that make you all start gambling and can't stop gambling or even because the sentence above makes you a gambling addict or even stop gambling?

Not really, I am not reacting that much to reading about gambling. The only times I feel the urge to gamble is when I read about a gambler hitting a jackpot, or watching gambling on TV. When I see a broadcast of a big poker tournament than I want to play myself, or when I see a movie about casinos than I am getting into the mood and want to gamble myself.
While reading through your facts, I don't agree with fact #2 that the house always wins. You are right that there is house edge that makes it more likely for the casino to win, but that is not a guarantee to always win. If 100 people play roulette one time only betting on Red or black, then on average there will be 48 winners and 52 losers. If they all play 5 rounds, than on average there will be 3 people who won every round. This doesn't involve any betting strategy, just a large number of games. The number of losers will be larger than the number of winners, this is how the casino makes money. And still there are people who make money with gambling. The most important thing in a casino is to get lucky from time to time.

Yeah, one of the better choices aside from quitting is doing our gambling activity in moderation.  There are lots of gambling fallacies that make us forget to gamble moderately but still, we must know the actual fact than believe these fallacies.
At first, maybe we can gamble in moderation, but as the tension we get, whether winning or losing, we are triggered to use more money.
This is what starts to make us forget what the purpose of our gambling is so that defeat after defeat comes to us without us realizing it.
And when we realize, it turns out that we have experienced many defeats.
The will to win will overpower everything, even myth number 3: If You Keep Playing, You Will Eventually Win Your Money Back, will be no use for us.

Success stories are the stories you always hear the most and are only too happy to make the news. How often do you read on a gambling site that someone has won the jackpot or that someone has wagered 1 euro with a return value of 100,000 euros? We do not know the flip side of these stories and are often not reported to us. There are a lot of people who gamble and who end up with an empty bank account, those stories don't make the newspapers and the media. That wouldn't encourage other players either, so it's understandable in a way. It is also a bit of marketing, of course, to see which stories are and are not told.
Winning rate and success stories are only for the purpose of marketing and somehow a proof that the casino is really paying which can attract more gamblers. There’s always a myth with gambling, and gamblers will always have an excuse especially if they don’t want to stop gambling yet. We all have a bad experience in gambling and honestly,

I am always hesitant to believe any success story especially when it is used in marketing propaganda,  Almost most of the stories I known about being successful is scripted, meaning all are planned.  Often times they pick up illiterate individuals, making them successful in life because of their services or products.

Is there really any success story about gambling from the casino?
I mean I don't expect someone would become successful by just regularly gambling, because you know, the house always win. So, being successful (financially) is close to impossible. I know if I'm gonna search any "successful story" about gambling, something will come up and just like you said it is tailored to make us believe there's hope in gambling lol.
The only gambling success story that I heard often is when someone hit the lottery jackpot.
Jackpot lottery winners could be considered success story but some of them doesnt really end up on being success but rather a disaster yet unwise spending would be the main problem or culprit on why they had made themselves fall on such condition or situation.

Gambling is for entertainment and only successful ones are to those who are good on poker/card games or sports betting although some people do believe that it cant be possible but actually it really is.
People just expecting too much with gambling without realizing that they are falling into the pit of addiction and causes up bad decisions and actions.

Or even a clickbait articles as we have seen a lot of "gambling success news", but I have a feeling that this is just a made up stories, trying to create some names behind to make it real or believable.

But for those who have been gambling for many years, and for sure majority of us here, will not easily accept that because we know that it will not be the case. Even if you have all the money in the world but you keep on losing big ones like every day in a casino, sooner or later those millions will be gone just like that.

I think women don't really gamble the way men do, it really scares to see a female gambler, actually have not seen any woman gamble before, but am sure women also gamble, but maybe they do it on their mobile phone's, since we have lots of gambling site now that everyone on use to gamble without going to any physical betting shops.
Talking in general, yes, they don't gamble a lot but still, they do gamble after all. I've known females personally and they are really gamblers and most of them are into sportsbetting. It all started as a hobby and then eventually turned into an activity that they're doing at most times.
They are betting in almost every sport that they see, basketball, boxing, esports and any sport that they have an idea on how the game is being done.
girls don't know to gamble! is an wrong though, I also have a cousin who is addicted to football betting, her favorite team is Real Madrid, she will be willing to put all her money on bets when real Madrid plays and on average she wins, this shows even though she is a girl, she is also very good at betting.
The reality have changed, in the past it is the girls who serve the caisnos. Just to cheer the gamblers they were into the casino. Now things have changed and they're no more into cheering, they do everything as the men do. As said some are really good in betting and making real-time prediction about the outcome.

Here is another Gambling Myth that I often hear:

  • Women don't know anything about sports betting.

In reality, it is not all about the men, and in fact many women have a better sense than their male counterparts regarding sports betting. Betting on a sports game is not rocket science (and I am not implying here that women cannot be rocket scientists, either), even if some men would like you to believe that it is.
There continues to be some significant gap between male to female gamblers in the world. Be it online or physical gambling arena. Arguably, you could say the women play a different role in the gambling industry and rather than taking sme actual bets, they aid you make the stakes acting as casino girls and some entertainers. Mean while, men do the actual gambling but a few women do gamble too and very few that are entirely obsessed at a game are found to be good at it but on the whole even without any statistics to prove, we've got more male gamblers than females.
I think this is mainly related to myth number 11 ; feeling lucky means you are going to win. Women usually don't feel in the same way and the best luck they think about is finding someone (a man) who accept to give her money just because she is hot or sexy. Something we (as men) usually don:t think about it. The result, women are experts in prostitution which men can't do, and men are victims of gambling. Each sex is expert in his field.

Well, I was also a believer of that before. So I never played when I think the timing is not right, or I’m not feeling lucky at all. But the thing is, no matter I gamble, either I play it bad or good, still the losses are inevitable. Because the fact is, it’s always the house wins, and the more we gamble, the more losses we endure.
The fact that we can't avoid losing, but at least we play at the right time to overcome emotions and bad decisions, many gamblers experience high losses due to the inappropriate gambling timing factor so we don't focus on the game, another fact we don't bet for profit but the point is Gambling to enjoy the fun so allocate less money for the risk of losing.

There are cases of gambling addiction in women.  So women do gamble the way men do.  I don't know how can you arrive that there is a difference between a man gambling and a woman gambling.  Aren't they both doing the same process when gambling?  Women also visit physical casinos, you can try to search the internet to verify if they really do.

Depends on the game but 1 thing I was always told when playing no limit texas hold em was " play bad you lose". 100% a true statement in my opinion.

Can you make money regularly gambling? I wouldn't suggest trying. Just have fun and gamble amounts that you can afford to lose.

Myth 10: Teens Don’t Gamble, Only Older People Gamble
>> Fact: Gambling is a bigger problem among teens than it is in adults.

This fact must be accompanied by more comprehensive research. I think every country will have a different level of problem with gambling be it teenagers or adults.
However, it is undeniable that bad behavior of teenagers such as drinking alcohol and smoking increases the prevalence of gambling among teenagers. This provides further evidence of the need for greater awareness of gambling behavior in early adolescence.
parents play an important role in guiding and providing sufficient knowledge about the dangers and impacts of gambling, especially online gambling.

By the way, it seems to me that modern children are less prone to gambling because they encounter it early (in different games where loot boxing mechanics and other "random" events are implemented to extract money from the player) and having a negative experience bypass it or are indifferent to it.

Teens are more susceptible to gambling now more than ever. They have easier access to gambling platforms and usually have the money to do so. Also, with gambling streamers becoming more and more popular, teens are getting the wrong idea about gambling which they think as a way to get quick and easy money. Loot boxes and similar things embedded in online games that they play are a start, and eventually they'll move on to bigger things like actual sports betting and the rest is history.
When it comes to accessibility then there's no doubt that youngsters nowadays are really that more prone to gambling from social media to youtube videos and other various platforms which could easily be seen
thats why proper guidance would really be needed on the parents side if ever they dont really like for their kids to get involved on gambling without knowing.
Gambling intent would really become bigger and bigger as it would really be getting going or remained not discovered but actually it is really on self will
whether you would pursue on playing or would be dealing on a controlled manner.

I believe women are already involved in gambling activity since ancient times.  One example is ancient Rome, women have a special day where they can participate in gambling since they are banned in gambling engagement during regular days.

This is not exactly the best example. Apparently, the ancient Romans only allowed one day a week for gambling because they thought women were less capable of it.  Cheesy

The point I want to make here is that there is nothing unique about the fact that women gamble. And as far as I have seen, gambling isn't simply an affliction of men. It is true that more men gamble than women, at least in the US. But when it comes to online betting, for example, the gap between male and female bettors seems to be narrowing substantially.

Actually, that is the best example, even in ancient times, women are into gambling.  The Emperor won't put that day if he doesn't find women interested in gambling.  And my reply isn't directed to your post but in the post that replies to your post the one stated by Vaskiy  Cheesy.   Since he stated that women of the past were not much into gambling.

This is common all around. In the past women weren't much into gambling. Now things have changed a lot. In my country we've got hundreds of sites to play online rummy. Recently one women ended her life after she have lost $10k which she had borrowed from friends and family. The important part, she got addicted and her husband have warned and they were separated out of gambling. Further out of loss and separation from family she ended her life. Through this I understood addicted Women were there in gambling.

I believe women are already involved in gambling activity since ancient times.  One example is ancient Rome, women have a special day where they can participate in gambling since they are banned in gambling engagement during regular days.

It does not to be accompanied by more comprehensive research.  Myth 10 is an absolute fallacy.  I don't know, only an idiot thinks that only older people gamble.  Kids gamble, they gamble with their cards, money, and toys.  I can attest to that since I did gamble with my cards and toys when I was a kid.
