If you consider gambling a sickness and you want to ban it, then you should think the same for alcohol, cigarettes, even using the internet, everything can potentially be really addictive and damaging, so if you want to ban something because "it's addictive", first think about all the stuff that should be banned for the same reason.

yes but not for all the people. it totally depend on the way you play gambling. if you are playing gambling without any strategy then it is really sickness for you.

When someone cant escape from gambling and tend to forget the other things in his life just because they want to continue to gamble then gambling is a disease for him. Gambling can ruin our life if we did it all the time! Beware!

exactly. gambling can bring out the greediness in people but gambling itself is not at fault here because mostly people who gamble are adults. and as adults we should already have that sense of self control and responsibility to know if we are gambling excessively already. a lot of people lot their minds already with addiction, so we should try to limit ourselves before it gets to that point where it'll be hard for us to stop

Well gambling will always hurts you and make you loose pretty a lot! So if you gambles you should expect this things thou gambling will base most in your luck then if you have luck then you can earn on that day but in the other day if your luck is gone then you are keep on loosing.

That is correct mate. As long as you are just gambling for fun, then there is really no problem at all. The bad thing is that when you start considering gambling as your source of income, then that is the time that you will encounter much of life disappointment because you will most likely to lose than you win. Unless you are lucky enough and are a professional gambler.

It is not considered a sickness literally , it is just called sickness when a person gets addicted to gamnling it is not the same as sickness that we actually know because it is not physically but mentally .

Yes gambling can not be considered as a sickness because its the problem of the user how is behaves to it,how he manages it.Yes its very addicting and its addiction is dangerous,but for me its a way of fun because i am able to handle it,and many others also.

well gambling is addicting but being addicted to gambling depends on the person playing. if they can control themselves, then gambling would be a fun and exciting activity which at times may give you a chance to earn. once it takes too much of your time and resources, that's when it becomes an addiction and gambling addiction is should be the one to be considered as a sickness
