but for me, i think addicted of gambling is not sickness but its only situations that we only think and act for gambling, nothing we want to do beside gambling and its a bad habit for that person and its should be help by the family for the closest person and the friends of that person. if its necessary, we need called or bring that person into some rehabilitions to help that person.

There are different degree for a certain gambling addiction but when the addiction is really serious that is the time you call it a sickness as you would not know how to control your emotion in gambling which would result to failure to manage your bankroll properly and might bring you to a bigger loses.

I agree with you, but who is to blame in this case are those who always use such a huge ambition to win something, so they are addicted to that eventually could lose a lot of money and, eventually, their rage is unclear as of some threads I've ever read and it made me sad cause he lost, but not because large gambling but as himself.

yes that is a fact and i think that if a person is playing gambling in a wrong way then it is really sickness for him , but for some people it is not a sickness but it play an important role in their life.

But in my opinion there is no right way to gamble. That means even if you are gambling just for entertainment purpose, still you might get gambling addictions over time. So there is no right way to gamble without getting into trouble.

Gambling is always a sickness even we are having some discipline on how we are gambling. Gambling addiction is always dangerous to all the gamblers regardless of why they are into gambling.

I do not think that gambling is a sickness because people decide for them self to gamble nobody is forcing them to go and gamble there money away.
The people are then making them selves sick but they have chosen this.

Gambling is a sickness if a gambler is not able to control it for himself. Because there are some gamblers that are becoming addicted to gambling and most of the them are not able to control their emotions. And when rage comes to them it makes them excited and they don't care anymore even they are going to lose.

All of the people are prone to become an addicted gambler if they are not going to control their self as they gamble. And too much addiction is good to consider as sickness.

And once you can see it to yourself then have some first aid already just like controlling your money as you gamble or if not you already need medication.

So that sickness will not going to be worst in the end.

Not all I guess because we are not all gambler here, and in fact there are people when they try gambling they do not enjoy it as they care so much for their money, maybe most of the men who are into gambling will lose big amount of money for failure to control themselves.

There is always a condition because if you are not addicted then you will not call gambling as sickness, so it is just right not to call gambling as a sickness because we are only the sickness if we let ourselves get addicted with gambling.

Gambling cannot be considered a sickness on the other hand gambling addiction is a severe disorder in my opinion and may qualify as a sickness, fortunately most people are able to gamble in a responsible way.

the only reason that gambling can be regarded as a sickness is when gambling has made people addicted to excess. But usually while gambling we are unable to control ourselves especially our emotions. I agree gambling must be a psychological based activity so it always targets our emotions. When we are out of control of our emotions, we can consider ourselves suffered by some disease, the root cause of that disease must be gambling.
