By the way, it should be none of our concern what casino advertisement is run on cricinfo or any other site. We should join and play on the gambling site based on our research and not by seeing the advertisements. Also, there is nothing wrong in which ads the cricinfo displays, they get the money for it.

If you want that cricinfo to display the ads of your favourite casino, better ask that casino to advertise there.  Smiley

Even there are ads on Cricinfo which are not relevant to any casino, not relevant to cricket and even not relevant to any company sponsoring any event.
I just saw the below ad at Cricinfo, about a drink in our local country named "Rooh Afza". Since there will be the holy month of Ramadan in the next few days, and therefore they are advertising this drink on Cricinfo. So this is not relevant to cricket or any contest so I do not understand what benefits will this drink company gets by advertising at such sites  Huh

I think that when a website hosts an advertisement, they don't have any control on over what website they're promoting especially if it's on Google ads so the websites that you're talking could be running ads already but it's Google that's choosing which shows up I think. It's probably got to do with algorithm though and which one's paying more money than the other casino or betting websites. I might be wrong on the ad thing though but I do recall that's how they do it back then.

As OP mentioned in his previous post, these ads are not the Google AdSense. Usually, when a site is popular the companies approach the site themselves for advertisement and in this case, they are paid even more by those advertisers.

From what I understand (I could be wrong), this Is the list of sites that bought advertising, I saw the crypto casino freebitco.in; If indeed these sites on this list are advertised on espncricinfo then this means that there is only one crypto casino listed

I am sure that these sites must have given money to cricinfo to advertise and therefore those ads are being displayed. These ads are not from the google adsense, else there would be different ads all the time.

These days I am seeing a new casino "Mega Casino World" is advertising on Cricinfo. I have never heard of this casino too  Huh

Do you cricket loving guys who visit espncricinfo often click on these ads and play at these unknown casinos ?

When I saw this thread, I entered this site, I kept refreshing and I always see the same casino displayed on this site, which in this case I see the bet365 casino, I don't know if bet365 already accepts deposits in cryptos, I knew they didn't, but As I've been following this casino for a long time, I don't know anything about it. I searched the terms of service and the privacy policy to see if I could find what criteria they use to approve advertisements on their website. and I was surprised that when I click on the "terms of service" it redirects me to this link:

https://disneytermsofuse.com/english-united-kingdom/

and when I click on "Interest-Based Ads" it redirects me to this link:

https://preferences-mgr.truste.com/?pid=disney01&aid=espnemea01&type=espn

Isn't that a rotating ad space on that site?  I'm not aware cricinfo is so popular but because of that nature a lot of businesses want to take a test adverts on the site to see if the ad is profitable.

Yes, the ads are rotating and these days due to World Cup we see a lot of local companies also advertising there. Good to see that. Recently I came across a Food Panda (local food ordering app) ad on Cricifno and the other day i aslo saw Jazz Cash ad on that site.

I haven't heard about these sites  Huh  Are they legit sites?
I haven't heard of them either. As per my research, the first site's trust score rating is low and the identity of the owner is hidden which is a red flag. I couldn't find specific reviews or information about the second one. I'm always hesitant to click on gambling ads, especially from sites I don't know. You should always take caution when dealing with unfamiliar gambling websites, before engaging with any of them, it's a good practice to thoroughly research the site, read user reviews, and look for any licensing and regulatory information. Legitimate sites should be transparent about their licensing and have a solid reputation within the gambling community.

Also, why can't trusted crypto gambling sites can promote their business on platforms like cricinfo?
It depends on the platform's policies and local regulations. It may have decided to limit or exclude certain types of gambling-related advertising to ensure the safety and compliance of its audience. Online gambling laws vary greatly from country to country. Some jurisdictions may not allow them to advertise at all, while others may have specific requirements that are difficult to meet.

I don't know whether the site is legit or not because this is the first time I have heard of the site. However, from what I see, this is a new casino platform and they are intensively promoting it in the East Asia region. If you are not too sure about the platform, you should not use it.
And why the crypto casino platform cannot promote on sites like espncricinfo is probably because of the website's rules. Because each website has different rules regarding their services and maybe espncricinfo is not too interested in crypto casino platforms.
If we don't know whether a gambling site is legit, we don't need to try it. At least for some time, we can also look for reviews about gambling sites and if there aren't any on this forum, maybe we can look for them on other sites. But still, we shouldn't immediately use it to gamble every day because we don't have more information about the gambling site.

If the owner realizes that he needs to promote his gambling site, he will carry out massive promotions to bring more gamblers to his gambling site. But it will also depend on the budget he has. But usually, for gambling sites, they have prepared a large budget because the owners know that competition in gambling is very tight and they have to be serious about promoting their casino.

The audience is very much limited in region. In addition, cricket is more popular in sub-continental areas where gambling is totally seen negatively. On top of that, the number of casinos is limited when we think of advertisements in Asia because there are few casinos that allow local payment methods. Crypto won't help the majority of Asia to gamble. In my country, most people gamble with bkash, nagad (mobile banking) payment. Otherwise, the number of gamblers was very much limited due to the payment easiness.

I believe it's all part of their marketing and sales strategy. After conducting a few searches, they are regarded as one of the primary sources of information about cricket, so it's not surprising to encounter various advertisements on their website.

What you observe might also vary for others based on their location in different countries. However, in my case, it appears that uBlock Origin effectively blocks all these pop-up advertisements. Other than that, if you aren't familiar with what is being shown, ignore it.

I cannot assure anybody that the sites are legit or not. I cannot even understand what's written in those ads, but they seem to look like those gambling sites in my country that have already grown in numbers exponentially for the past few years. I don't know if they're following the same strategy, but in here in my country they're usually operated by Chinese gambling corporations that are mostly shady in nature. Many of them are involved in so many illegal activities.

I'm not sure if Web Paranoid's assessment is to be trusted but their system considers sixs8.me as suspicious.

It's actually not uncommon to see shady gambling sites being promoted everywhere. I always encounter the ads of 1xbet and 1xbit everywhere.

Often times this rotating ads are done when the ad space renter wants to test or just have less funds to fully take the space by themselves.  Is Lays even the popular snack for cricket fans while watching?

I just saw an Ad for Lays chips in the Espn Cricinfo site  Smiley

That's a bit refreshing as usually I see only betting ads here but this is one of the Chips manufacturing brands "Lays" who have opted to advertise on this platform dominated by the betting sites.
I saw a K-drama series being advertised on the website when I visited it, it looks like they allow many companies to advertise on their website.

Espn CricInfo have different Editions like India, Australia, Srilanka, United States, Global etc and your region will be automatically applied when you visit that site from your country's IP address. So I think we would see different ads based on our region and many of us won't see the ads that OP mentioned if our region is different.

By the way, I am not surprised to see less popular casino sites advertise on Cricinfo or non-casino-based businesses advertise there. We know it's all about marketing. Cricinfo may list the ads from those who gave them a good amount to list them. Also, since everyone knows that Cricinfo has a big audience, many non-casino brands may also be interested in advertising on that site.

I have never heard of these casinos before. I will also say that just because I haven't seen or heard of such casinos before doesn't mean they are bad. But these kind of casinos are mostly scamming with the users than I will tell you that there are many good casinos in this forum and you can select them. I think it is better to check their reputation before betting on such online casinos or gambling sites. And if anyone wants to do it, here is the link- Table Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos

There can be many reasons behind this, firstly one of the reasons is that they get good big money sponsors from them and put them on the website.
Moreover, another big reason is that cryptocurrencies are not yet legalized in all countries, maybe because of this obstacle such websites do not accept them.

same, it's my first time hearing about these sites, I looked at the age of their domain and both of them are less than a year old(both are around (200+ days old). As Maydna has mentioned, sixs8.me looks like an affiliate website and not a casino, as for bjbaji88.live, I can't access the website, my country seems to be restricted.

Also, why can't trusted crypto gambling sites can promote their business on platforms like cricinfo?
there could be many reasons for that. it could be that they don't allow crypto casinos to be advertised on their website or crypto casinos doesn't see the need to advertise on the website, who knows.

I've never heard of the casino. But for the first one, it is a casino specifically for people coming from Bangladesh, India & South East Asia. But the casino also accepts people from outside the country, as there are no restrictions for people from outside the country. Besides that, I also didn't see anything about KYC or I have yet to find it.

The second site looks like it is an affiliate site because there are no links anywhere, and there are only links that refer to the affiliate page for registering and logging in. However, the site has an app for smartphones.

Those who are involved in cricket matches, discussion, prediction and betting know that https://www.espncricinfo.com/ is the most widely used site to check the scores of all cricket matches.

Recently I saw two gambling sites promoting their site in the form of ads on their site.
