There is no gamble if you not place a bet. Gambling is a game when you place a bet.

Even betting is part of gambling, usually betting denotes sport betting which is believed to be capable of having aspects to be controlled through skill and knowledge. Maybe luck based activities are gambling and the rest are classified as betting. A blind shot maybe a gambling whereas a sure shot must be a betting.

Gambling is not fun if we don't have luck than it just hurt. Hard to say this we play there just for fun where we take risk with our money there is impossible to have fun while losing continuously.

I don't know what difference you guys found in b/w Gambling and Betting. According to me, both are same. Yes, the Gambling means we put our money in risk to double our money. Betting meaning also same we bet our money to make a profit. So what difference you guys found please explain. For me both having the same meaning.

Yes, the big difference is you bet only once and you are ready to accept profits or losses as per the game. Whereas in gambling, you will always think you will get second chance. Most of the gamblers are thinking that the second chance is for double their profits or to recover your losses.

Betting has definite chances so your losses also will be definite, but you may continue your gambling for infinite times until you become poor. For a perfect and predetermined gambler there will not be any differences between gambling and betting.

i think gambling and betting is the same because there are a games and money involve with that activity. i think gambling is like a house and betting is like the other side of the room and every people is inside that room.

a very good analogy, easy to understand. Absolutely, Gambling is a game where you place a wager. Without betting gambling is just a regular game that can be played by everyone without need money to bet, because if gambling, money is needed to place bets and make a profit if it wins, but if the play without paying a couple only was a regular game, losing or winning is not a problem

Why would the OP versus the two when it's one.. Gambling is what you called when there is a betting on games.

As most users described gambling and betting were two different words to describe a same thing or two words which have got the same meaning. I don't think that gambling and betting has some specific difference in terms of control. So both when crosses a limit addiction happens which is not good for a good gambler or a common man.

What is the difference of Gambling and Betting? Here is a quick explanation gambling is an activity that is based on chance and luck. You are using your money anticipating you will win some. Betting is like predicting the results of gamble. If you bet, that is like based on your intuition or you just take a chance that your prediction could be right based on what you feel.
