If you plan on doing some investing it would be a good idea to get familiar with the site at first. The options are there but each has their own small differences, such as how the Houses cut is calculated, some will give you a better deal for your coin. Safety wise, im pretty sure most of the big gambling sites that accept investing are as safe as it can get in a crypto, meaning that the risk of the site running is always there.

can any of these websites be trusted?
recently i have been desperately looking for some place to invest some of my bitcoins but i can never find a decent place that i can fully trust. maybe i am too hard on them. but again i see a lot of scams, hacks and running aways that i find it too hard to trust them.

I think those four can be trusted. The owner of Bitvest is the person running 777coin which is an old site. Betking is the re-branded version of PRC, which is also very old and has thousands of bitcoin invested in them already. Safedice is not as old but it has been here for over a year. Moneypot has been sold to ranlo and co. recently who seems to be good guys. But anyway, these are just my personal opinions and exactly as ranlo said above, all sites trusted or not, could go under.

thanks for the details. i might invest in one of them after some more research.
but i am having trouble trusting any website these days. history has proven that any of these big ass companies even with a long history or thousands of bitcoin can say we were hacked (lie or no lie) and not pay their investors like what cryptsy did

It's relatively safe to invest in a gambling site, as they have more to gain in the long run by staying instead of running with the bitcoin. Do note, that when you invest, if the bankroll is big, you'll have to invest quite a large amount to make a decent profit.

I dont really agree on this actually, for saying it is true that long run is really profitable but how long is that you guys can't judge by only predict. Because sometimes when the big whale coming you will suddenly lose it like moneypot but suddenly they are comeback again. And you need to invest in a huge amount to see the outcome

The important thing to remember is that even majorly-trusted sites (think Mt. Gox, Cryptsy) can go under. So really, any site can. Even if you fully trust a site, you should never invest more than you can afford to just write off as a loss.

Of course yeah. There are still couple of games that support moneypot especially betterbets, see how much their wagered and now they are increasing, so I dont think that moneypot will be easily die like that. And they have some new game that supported by moneypot too

I know this sounds like a total win idea to invest in a site that has people spewing money at it but the chance the site gets taken down like a silkroad are greater than if you invest in a venture that is not gambling related. Would be interesting to see but I doubt you make as much investing in a gambling site as you think. For one they are not going to share their numbers and you can not double check your payment against what they gave you.

diggit.io but i am not sure how safe is to invest there as owner is not taking care of it too much (used to be a great website)
and there is bitvest
regards.

Wasn't aware that it accepted investments -- interesting one! What do you mean by not taking care of it, though? Seems like everything's working.

The only way to contact the staff of diggit.io is to use its thread on bitcointalk, but CryptoFuture has been very inactive on bitcointalk for at least a few months. Just check the last few pages of https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/diggitio-over-dice-brand-new-game-800-btc-invested-1-edge-879161 and you will see users having waited for months for some deposit problems.

Ouch, yeah, I see now. Marking that off my possible investment list, Smiley. Thanks for the heads-up!

Guys, do you know any sites that accepts investment from crowd and gives them a return? I want to invest in it because I have idle bitcoins in my wallet and I want to grow it even in small amount.

The following is what I responded to another thread just now, but I think my post there should also be applicable and helpful to you, and thus I post it here as well.

You need to be aware of the two types of risks involved and make sure you are okay with them. First, the house is expected to win in the long term, but they can still lose significantly in the short to medium term. You can see this happening from time to time on almost every site. Another type of risk is that the owner could scam your investment partially (by faking a lucky winner) or totally (by pulling an exit scam). Having said that, I have personally invested in Safedice, Moneypot and Justdice atm and they are working okay.

If you want to grow your bitcoins, you don't have to invest into bitcoin gambling sites.

There are alternatives, like lending to margin-traders in Poloniex. There is no risk involved[1] (as the loaners have collateral), apart from the risk of the site shutting down and scamming their users (a risk all bitcoin gambling sites share as well). A quick calculation: if you lend at 0.11% fee everyday for a year, you'll end up with a nice 51% APR.

[1]As opposed to investing into a gambling site, where it is possible to lose in the short/mid run. Take moneypot as an example.

Keep in mind Polo takes 15% of all interest payments as well, so you actually get less. In any case, I'd treat it like the stock market: a larger amount in a "less risky" investment (Polo/Bitfinex swaps), a smaller portion in bankrolls, and an even smaller portion in trading. In stocks, this is akin to a large amount in bonds, smaller amount in indexes, and an even smaller amount in speculative picks.
