I prefer to use crypto to playing gambling although I can use stable coins, Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other cryptocurrency. That will depends on my mood and if I wants to use Bitcoin, I will directly send my Bitcoin or use my balance on my Stake's account so I don't have to deposit more money. Yes, we will have a chance to hide ourselves by using crypto casinos but we still needs to fills KYC if the casino asks to do KYC.

If in some countries gambling prohibit, people can use cryptocurrency to playing gambling so they can hide themselves from other people if they wants to playing gambling. But they may doing KYC when they wants to withdraws their money if there are requirement from casinos to do KYC. Cryptocurrency represents freedom but we can't fully free because there will be a need to do KYC from casinos so we must obey that rules from the casinos.

I like using stablecoins because even the market is volatile still the value of your coin are as is so you don't need to worry too much, but I'm using bitcoin for my gambling entertainment of course its more convenient and bitcoin more likely are the first supported coin of a gambling casino so its a good thing to me but the cons like currently happening the price of the BTC fell so the value of your asset now if converted into fiat is also reduce still BTC is BTC but if you always love to cashout and caught with the market dump that's the time feels bad.

There's no such "KYC-free" or "freedom" when you gamble using crypto because most casinos nowadays are require to submit KYC including the casino you promoted. Even Bitcoin is a decentralized coin, if you the coin is in centralized site, the site can confiscate your coins.

I don't see any big difference between gamble using stablecoins or high volatility coins because in the end, you will loss your coins since gambling isn't for making money.

The title says it all. Which currency do you prefer to use when betting? Is it stablecoins, good-old Fiat, or traditional cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum?

Personally, I like to gamble with crypto not only because it's "KYC-free", but also because it represents freedom. The only downside is market volatility. Stablecoins always have their value pegged to Fiat (usually the USD), but they're too centralized and often lack investor protections or guarantees of any  kind. And then there's the choice of Fiat, but most (if not all) casinos or gambling sites require you to reveal your personal ID (KYC) to use them. In some countries it's even illegal to gamble online. So crypto for me, is the true winner here.

I also play only with crypto from many years now, since I first get known to the cryptocurrencies,I also like their freedom which cannot be matched by any other money whatever it be from the FIAT range I mean as if you go with FIAT you need to verify yourself and even if you don't verify yourself the mean to deposit funds lets your identity seen to the casino team,in crypto is great as unless you verify yourself there is no way the casino to know that this wallet belong to this real person.

For the volatility it rarely happens to have huge swings in a small amount of time so for me that is also not a problem at all.

Since I gamble in crypto enabled platforms, even if they have the option of fiat deposit, I do not give it a thought because I prefer crypto given the ease and peace of mind it offers. I do not feel comfortable entering my card details into different online platforms. Furthermore, gambling platforms have different different crypto deposit options of which I chose that which have less fees and faster confirmation time. However, despite the deposit options, I prefer seeing my balance in dollars to be able to properly manage my gambling in terms of amount to gamble with per round and also my target to win.
If we're talking about online gambling, then my preference is definitely cryptocurrency, especially because I hold cryptocurrencies so it is convenient for me to use them for gambling. Providing bank details for gambling is not a good option for me, except for physical bet shops where I can make payments in fiat, it's all about cryptocurrency. Bitcoin and usdt stablecoins are my preferences, but mostly stablecoins because of Bitcoin volatility and occasional mempool congestions.

Currently I am in the realm of crypto casinos, I automatically gamble using crypto, such as: LTC, BTC and ETH, these are the three types of crypto that I often use, However, as time goes by and conditions like what happened yesterday, the cost of Bitcoin is expensive and also Ethereum, I have stablecoin reserves to consider when gambling, namely USDT, the advantage is that it has many networks such as Tron etc., I see the convenience of using USDT when making deposits or withdrawals, maybe that's almost all the casinos here.

Bottom line: crypto casinos have had the convenience of Bitcoin being created, it's no wonder many casinos using fiat features are switching to crypto, that's a real improvement over the current technological growth.

It depends on the market condition on what currency I’m using. I preferred stablecoin when the market is on bear market/consistently dumping to protect the value of my bankroll. I experienced before that all my profit erased just because the market suffer a huge price fluctuations downward while I’m still gambling.

On the other hand, I use crypto like BNB, XRP and Doge when the market is pumping hard so that I can ride the pump while enjoying gambling at the same time.

But in regular basis, I preferred stablecoin since I always convert all my profit to fiat after I finish my game.

Strange to admit, but my attitude to cryptocurrency, after being so many year in it, is not as they are money or 100% money. This is expressed when I do actions with crypto, that ends with a negative result, i.e a loss, with a calm attitude. If I invest and lose fiat, I would be more disappointed, if I but an altcoin and its value goes down quickly. Probably "not care" factor is higher, compared to fiat. That is why I am more easy to deposit, gamble, and lose crypto, than fiat. I can say that I am greedy to gamble with fiat, or I feel sorry to lose fiat, when with crypto, when I lose, I might counter or correct it with "market price growth". That is why I gamble with crypto in 99/100 times. As to gambling with stable coins or other crypto, than for me it is not a big deal, as my balance and bets are displayed in $.

I never used fiat to gamble online I only used it offline, I only learned to play online because of Cryptocurrency, because of the easiness of using Cryptocurrency, you are safe and secure and the transaction is very fast and can be verified.

Online casinos and Cryptocurrency are made for each other, no wonder the industry reached the level of the most profitable industry.

My choice of Cryptocurrency is Bitcoin, but if the fee is too high I opted for Doge and Trx, these two are good replacements they are fast and offer very cheap transactions.

To be honest, I don’t think about it, it all depends on what I have on my balance right now for the game. Unless, if we are talking about bets on sporting events, then I bet a stronger equivalent and stemcoins are best suited for this. And for various games more It’s more convenient to bet various altcoins since there is a feeling that the price of 1 game is very cheap.

Back in time used to gamble with BTC when was worth $300-1000. Winnings i cashed out and soon after i realized that i would have made more money just by holding it. I don't even want to remember how much btc i lost in total. Then i thought that i had learned my lesson and stopped playing completely and started trading. Then i found usdt and played where that was accepted,

That lasted for a while before i found out new SOL-based casino, that had connection to nfts i was holding at the time. I won sol, even got some free sol when they messed something up there and cashed that out. Sad thing is that it was 2022 and SOL was dropping to the ground, and didn't seem to have a bottom, only fud at the time. So i cashed out significant amount of SOL when it was under $20, because i was using that instead of usdt anyway, i wanted it to be more stable and not to lose all value.

So i learned my lesson again... until next time i have to re-learn it.

My preference is cryptocurrencies.

Personally, I like to gamble with crypto not only because it's "KYC-free", but also because it represents freedom.
Since when did crypto become "KYC-free"? The KYC procedure applies in the same way to cryptocurrencies (and any form of money) in almost every online casino.

The only downside is market volatility.
This disadvantage becomes an advantage as soon as the market changes direction upward.

Stablecoins always have their value pegged to Fiat (usually the USD), but they're too centralized and often lack investor protections or guarantees of any  kind.
I don't trust stablecoins and would only risk using it for a very short period of time.

And then there's the choice of Fiat, but most (if not all) casinos or gambling sites require you to reveal your personal ID (KYC) to use them.
Fiat is a product from the last century that is inconvenient to use online. The main advantage of this is its offline application.

In some countries it's even illegal to gamble online. So crypto for me, is the true winner here.
That's right, crypto allows you to bypass local restrictions related to gambling.

Well, I want to still bet with fiat but mostly I'd bet with crypto, stablecoins, bitcoin or any crypto that's available on me.

The real winner here isn't about what we're going to choose but it is actually us, as the winners. Because of having plenty of options, we're able to have the real freedom to choose where we should gamble.

I guess that's what a real winner means to me.

I still prefer crypto, BTC, Doge and others. However, we have a local wallet app that integrates gambling already, so you can play with Evolution and other gambling operators so most of the time I'm using it and for sure most Filipinos here can relate to that app.

Nevertheless, if I will be given option, I will stay with Bitcoin as my main crypto to used. Although lately, we all know that mempool is congested because of deliberate attack from some entities that's why we go and used altcoins.

I use litecoin or doge whichever is available.

I don’t use btc or eth because they have high fees. I lose a lot to the transaction fees while I can send ltc and doge nearly for free.
Litecoin and Dogecoin are like favorite choices for many people when Bitcoin blockchain is overwhelming and mempools are loaded too much.

Being accepted on many gambling sites is one of reasons to make Dogecoin is one of old altcoins that can survive in cryptocurrency market after many years. A meme coin that is widely accepted for use on many platforms, it is an important use case to make up Dogecoin value.

Stable coins are not even an option. They are available on many networks and it is easy to confuse them.
I stay with biggest stable coins like Tether USD (USDT) but I am not worrying about confusion among many stable coins. I am more cautious with risk of stable coin like it can be frozen in my wallets. With storage on a centralized platform, like a gambling site, it is bigger risk of fund freeze.

I'm situational basis, since if the market is doing good and we don't encounter any network issue or other thing that can cause a high fees or network transaction congestion then provably crypto would be my option.

But if there's current issues ongoing with those matter then will choose to gamble using fiat since, I don't want to have any distraction like pending deposits or withdrawals if we push to do transaction or even pay more huge fee just to make our transaction fast.

But Fiat is never in my option since I don't want to encounter any troubles for using it and also I don't want to get stress by certain regulations.

Investing on highily volatile Crypto coins exempting Bitcoin and Ethereum has much been like a gambling to me so then, it is a considerable choice to have such coins which is not potential for term holding to be gambled with as much and it would be best preferable for me.

It is better I take the risk of loosing while desperately chasing the profits on gambling than loosing it all while hoping I was going to make profits when holding for investment profits.

Other end, betting with a stable coin would be an alternative alike the fiats while Bitcoin is definitely a no go area because it is an asset hope for my future against the tensions of the economy situations.

         -     Well, for my part, when I gamble, fiat and cryptocurrency are often used as equals, but most of the time it's actually usdt and sometimes doge, Trx, and bnb. These are just a few of the most common ones, to be honest.

Also, if my KYC is required when I withdraw, I don't have a problem because I don't often win a large amount in my gambling, according to my experience. And it is better to gamble in a crypto casino that has a kyc free honestly speaking.

USDT stablecoin, alternatively in some altcoins that have cheap transactions while fiat is no longer used for gambling, I am a little worried about gambling using fiat because my country prohibits gambling.

Now there are still many casinos that are free not to KYC, but I don't know if there are casinos with fiat deposits requiring you to show your identity because they use fiat if there is such a thing then it will never be used again.

However now crypto casinos have become popular since casinos have grown rapidly to become big with the industry, for example casinos here some are well known and they are known as crypto casinos.

it depends on the type of platform I have to use or in general the type of bet I have to make.
if I want to play with a casino that allows me to bet with "single cent" then I have to use crypto (I prefer bitcoin but the high fees can be a disadvantage) Sad
If I want to play on a betting exchange and take advantage of a liquid market, I necessarily have to use FIAT and relatevely market.
