I agree. While the episode was good I really felt hungry to know what was happening in King's Landing and other places. I guess that's one advantage of reading the books, you can just push on until you get what you want. Watching these episodes one by one is brutal.

Brace yourself, the season break is coming Sad

The extended battle sequence was pretty badass

As for streaming the show, couchtuner usually releases the new episodes one hour after they air.

does it feature some sort of blockchain or what's the deal with posting that here?

For some reason molecular I imagined a Game of Thrones occuring in a Blockchain not sure what that would look like
I imagined a pyramid structure with a maze in the middle and a BTC symbol in the center with Satoshi there waiting to challenge all
Or reveal the next path by asking what the Proof of Work is

im the opposite, I don't like all the story lines... so  Ireally enjoyed the episodes. season 1 was good as their was only 1 story line..
but now in season 4 there is what like 4 or so story lines... I actually have trouble following and I have to ask my GF what is happening Sad
she is really good with compression.

would of enjoyed a bit of Tyrion action in the episode, but I still think its my fav episoe of the seaon so far.

and to the 2 other guys thanks for answering my question. I actually thoughjt they had not been airing shows on holidays for a number of years now? Didn;'t think it was a new thing they just started ?

The episode was alright, but I prefer episodes with a little more different stories instead of a whole episode about a single event.

But than again it was still a nice episode, just not my favorite.

GoT is still one of my favorite series ever, I hope it stays like this and I hope it ends before they drag it too much. It has to stay interesting.

4? I believe there's more than that.

Let's see,

Castle black
Hodor and friends
(White workers) (kinda belong with the above atm)
Danaeris
Kings landing
Red lady
The vale
Arya (technically currently at the vale)
Theon greyjoy and all that

Might have actually forgotten some. Also not all of them are mentioned in each episode. Usually they only mention 4 or so indeed.

The episode was alright, but I prefer episodes with a little more different stories instead of a whole episode about a single event.

The events were too important to simply brush over with interruption. I felt that the dedication to the battle of Castle Black added to its intensity, as if you were there with them.

I loved Breaking Bad, but I don't have the urgency to watch that again as I do with Game of Thrones - it is simply amazing.

Well, you do have a point. But still, even though I enjoyed the episode it's not my favorite. It's still pretty good.

I use piratebay but they are abit slow to delete fakes and what not.. good ol eztv is usually 99% accurate.

on an unrelated topic.. you Americans will know this.. how come when there is a holiday no shows come out ?? do they think everyone is on holiday and not watching TV ? Like a week ago, game of thrones and all those shows were not on cause it was some holiday. what is the deal ?

yes, people tend to not watch as much during the holidays.. that's why they did it this year. it was based on the numbers from the last few years, and it's simply not worth airing.

In the case of Memorial weekend I believe that HBO chose not to air it due to a potential reduction in viewers. When you consider that GoT is the most pirated TV show (most torrented) ever, a lot of people watch with zero advertising, so they really want to nail it on the first airing.

I usually stream it, but I think that I'll have to watch them all again during the break until Season 5.

This morning when I started streaming S4E9, I noticed Richard Madden's name on the opening credits. Some troll had uploaded an episode from Season 3 in its place grrr.

Looking forward to the season finale, it is going to be a longer episode than usual. Bloody good job.

I watched it before I went to work - was a fantastic episode. Expected nothing less from the man who directed the episode Blackwater that featured the Battle of Blackwater Bay in Season 2.
