Exactly. If you participate to presales through our group, you won't have to put a high gas price or to fear missing out on an ICO!

Once I had to send transaction 100 gas to get tokens EXP on ICO. And I did the right thing. Those who pointed little gas did not have time to invest in it Smiley

Hey guys,

Nobody likes gas wars... If you participate to presales, there is no gas war. But how can you participate in presales? Well, some friends and I have created a community dedicated to pooling for the presales of ICOs. I know it's a bit off topic, but please, let me tell you a bit about it.

Our community is named ICO Pool Investment - Grouped Action Is Never Small - GAINS.

Already joined by more than 300 members, we strive to be the best. Our team analyses dozens of ICOs and only keeps the greatest ones. From this short list, we contact and negotiate directly with a highly ranked decision maker or the CEO. We deliver deals on a silver platter.

Participating to a presale solves many of the issues tied to public ICOs and offers multiple advantages:
- Avoid the rush due to the hype and be assured that you can invest
- No gas war Wink
- No 3 AM alarm clock
- No min individual cap
- Reduced risk of getting scammed because we only offer ICOs which have passed our sharp and  thorough research
- Get in with a bonus! Enjoying a 3-digit bonus is not unusual...

We are fully transparent. You can find more information about us and the project on our facebook group. We’ve also made an AMA : https://youtu.be/aJ2xm_I83rQ

On a normal participation 50 gwei, but I have used 3000 gwei to get on 3rd day on BLZ. I really wanted to get in as the personal cap was very small, I have also used https://chronobot.io to maximize the chances.
I've seen people paying more than this for REN and BEE 2nd stages.

I personally often use gas at number 21 it's fast enough for me. But if you want more relaxed waiting can use gas in figure 4. That's the gas standard I know.

You can use what ever you want for the gas price. If you want to do a transaction that is very fast just put the gas/gwei price to 30-50. If you dont wanna waste money just put the gas/gwei price down!

What is the highest amount of Gas price(gwei) you have paid to participate in a Pre-sale or ICO?

what are the possible effects on newcomers to crypto trading?
The two recently participated ICOs blockport and selfkey in both of them I did put 99Gwei and 300K GAS limit but still in self key my transaction didn't go through and I lost some ETH as GAS fees. It would be better for ICOs to cap the individual contributions so that each candidate can participate without worrying.

Your experience is just one out of many that is being encountered. It's even sadder that the TX cost is non-refundable. If investing will remain open to all (not just the whales), it is important that ICO'S cap the individual contributions and maximum gas price be set asap

Ok, I can see more gwei, faster your transactions.

Then what is the gas limit? Why ICO's asking for insane amounts like 300000?

I doing my regular transactions to exchanges with Gwei 15 and gas limit 20000. It cost me usually not more than 1 buck. Why ICO's is different?
Or just copying other successful ICOs which sold in 1 hrs. But typical ones going on for days and still asking high gas limits. Why so? And what if I just put my usual gas limit? Will they reject my transaction?

I have not yet used gas. How do you think how much gas will cost in a year? And will it be profitable to use the air for the high prices?

There are fixed fee and non-fixed fee, and the fixed ones can be fixed according to the official designation. If it is not fixed, I suggest 250, 000 gas and 500 gwei. This fee setting, basically can be the top 100.

It all depends on how much you put the gas, if the smallest one transaction will go for a long time, if you put a high one then the cost will be bigger and it will come instantly

There were a lot of ICOs which have ended in a few minutes. So if you set a low gas price or gas limit your tx could be not included into the block in time. The highest tx cost that I paid was around 0.05 ETH (100 Gwei gas price * 500.000 gas limit).

Stupid question...
You can put at least 0.5 Gwei and the transaction will be completed.
You can put 50 Gwei and the transaction is also confirmed.
Only one slower, the other faster.
You`re right about that, but if you withdraw your coin or transfer it to another wallet from exchangers it will cost big amount of gas fee.

I tried sending 0.1 Gwei and the gas of 21000 it went through within a min so sending ETH with any gas or gwei eventually it will be sent, but for ERC-20 Tokens you will need far more gas.
Use https://ethgasstation.info/ to calculate the price of the transaction, at first sending out transaction "erc 20 tokens" its hard and after a few days i figured it out what matter is the how much are you willing to pay for a transaction, i personally want to save so i use less gwei and average gas if it fails just add more gas and try.

Withdrawing from Exchange cost more because the fees are set by them automatically with API from the Eth network seeing which fee is suitable for a fast withdraw.
