In Edmonton, it went below 50 cents today.  Last time it was this cheap was 1999.    Smiley

That's for a liter and in Canadian dollars and ONLY at the Vod Stop & Go. What kind of shit are you tryin' to pull? Shocked

You do know that the entire world uses liters, save for one backwards country, right?

It's a $1.35 for a gallon here, that's a blessing. I remember not long ago it was $4.75 a gallon.

If oil prices are low for a long time than all other products (food, cars, laptops, jeans, whatever you want...) will be cheaper...

High energy prices are not good for consumers like us. Low prices give us time to develop sustainable energy resources like solar and wind systems and so we can get rid of these silly carbon-based energies...

This is just hidden economic war against Russia.
Oil price is deliberately falling down, to destroy Russian export of crude oil..
Russia have great natural resources and this is only game of US oil industry.

Gas prices are low, but it seems like inflation is high on many other items Sad  Would rather have the reverse.

$1.69/gallon in Lincoln, NE and falling

$1.47 in Sandwich, IL, the other day. I think at Walmart it was 2-3 cents cheaper if purchased with their debut card.

At least food prices haven't fallen as quickly. That's good news.  Roll Eyes

Our food prices are rising here quickly. They want us to eat healthy but are charging a fortune for fruits and veggies atm.
Diary prices are outrageous. Best to try and find farmers outside of the city to buy goods atm. They have not jacked up prices yet

Eggs were high for a while, but milk's down to $1.49/gal (gas is cheaper). Most everything else is still high because ... wait for it ... the price of gas, so we've been told as to why the increases, but has yet to lower due to gas' low price now.

I sure have been enjoying the low prices lately. I hope the low prices are still here when the snow melts enough for me to take the motorhome to the gas station to top it off..

For Once, Low Oil Prices May Be a Problem for World's Economy

For the last 75 years, almost every economic crisis has been preceded by an oil price spike. The worry now is that low energy prices are pushing the global economy into a tailspin.

While the idea is counter-intuitive, it’s gaining traction because a growing share of the world’s consumers and investors are in the very places getting hammered by the rout in commodities prices. Apple Inc., for example, blamed weaker sales last quarter on lower economic growth in some oil-rich countries.
