Congratulations to you OP, I hope the place you open the gas station is close to busy area because, the moment people discover that you are accepting BTC as a payment in your business, many people will conclude that you are a big man and they will be looking for way to snatch your system or phone from you to have access to your BTC. Am not trying to put fear in you than to advise you to be careful for late hours business because, people always look at those that is accepting BTC in their businesses as the richest man or woman in the country. I believe, trust wallet is reliable and trusted for that business because it is difficult for scammers to have access to your BTC unless you expose you seeds to someone.
I think the idea behind this is great But if you using Bitcoin Network is this efficient I mean bitcoin has 10 Minutes block and sometimes the network is congestion or have u implemented the Lightning Network or something like that.

this is a great initiative! these are the news that are good for bitcoin and the community, knowing that somehow it is possible to use one's btc to pay for daily expenses will lead to more and more mass adoption. as far as wallets are concerned, I also advise you to use the lightning network both to receive and to pay, because the TXs are instantaneous and with few fees. it seems to me that electrum supports LN
Excellent initiative, I would say that you must certainly use the LN network because payments must be quick and therefore you should keep in mind that there are two ways to do it, custodial or non-custodial. The choice must fall according to your possibilities in managing an LN node, if you have the necessary skills to do it safely without losing your funds then it is certainly the best choice otherwise you have to entrust your payments to external services. Perhaps the best way is to use btcpay server.

The point is here, as long as they know Bitcoin and accept Bitcoin around them, it will be easier for you to implement it. especially if Bitcoin is already common or accepted in your country, it will be easier. Not only that, introducing Bitcoin to the wider community is a bit difficult, especially for a generation that is no longer young. Maybe there are some who understand but this takes time. Hopefully, your plan is really successful and smooth, Keep it up.
This is a good innovation to give Bitcoin more awareness. But how do you convince people especially the non-youths to pay with Bitcoin? This may only go well with the people that have an understanding of how this coin and wallet works. All the best in your business and the payment plan.
If the business flourish with use of cryptocurrency payment mostly bitcoin as preliminary, they will be a time when it will be extended to other potential cryptocurrencies as some people suggested, this business is just a fresh business that I brought the ideas of using bitcoin as use of payment but it's not necessarily mean that it have only one option, the option is two and use of fiat currency is the first option and bitcoin is the second option, I will be rotating the cryptocurrency option of payment with the regards of customers option in cryptocurrency, and after fishing out the altcoins they needed I will include it as payment option, its gradual process everything will stand
Although I always encourage service providers to accept bitcoin as payment method but, unfortunately, I don't think it's going to work for you. The reason is that no gas station customer will accept to wait ~10 minutes for his payment to get confirmed. Such customers are always in a hurry.
It may work if you are going to accept lightning payments or any other coins with faster transaction speed (ex: ltc).

You did that well as a Bitcoin enthusiast and you took the opportunity to use Bitcoin in the right way so that people in the community that you know there know it little by little.
And you didn't make a mistake in what you did because your other customers are getting curious about what Bitcoin is and others want to be trained to use Bitcoin as a payment when they get gas at your place. Congratulations again for doing that hope many customer will come to your gas station

Can you provide some more pictures of your gas station accepting bitcoins? I don't think people will be excited about using bitcoin as a payment method at gas stations. I mean, it takes too long to process the payment, and they will have to pay extra fees for the transaction, while the fuel price is very high. So I don't think people will use bitcoin.
I am happy to see this post although I checked this kind of posts here but each time i saw BTC adopting post of individuals un any are its give pleasant to me and i wish i could also do some to spread awareness in my area but here big issue is that we cannot openly advertise BTC or crypto here.

Somehow' its always you beginners [Newbies - Members] that are always having these contracts that wishes to pay in bitcoin or someone just started accepting bitcoin in their firm or someone just convinced his or her boss to be paid and even pay the rest of them staff in bitcoin. I still won't be surprised to see someone convince his nation's government to start paying its civil staff in bitcoin.
This generic thread of having to do this and that with bitcoin is becoming too much. If i don't know any better, i'll take it that y'all are just lying. Mind you, trust is a lot of things on the forum and y'all could be given a neutral tag for insincerity in this manner ans posting what your not fully interested in constitutes as spam.

Yes, you are right; this is another fantasy from a beginner. The OP ran out of ideas to help newbies create good content (these are topics he created) and celebrate Bitcoin as an asset, and he decided not to waste time. 20 new topics from 43 posts. You can understand that the fantasy of the OP does not sleep. Another topic is buying a yacht.
But again, if we return to the fact that yesterday the OP did not understand the basics of Bitcoin, wallets, etc., and today he opens a business, seriously, does this forum give a good kick to newbie entrepreneurs?
If only I have the mindset of being a businessman, or skills of a businessman then I'll do the same. I'll integrate cryptocurrency in my business, but the difference is that, I will not only accept Bitcoin, but some other altcoins as well such as Ethereum, Dogecoin, BNB and others who I know is a good long term coin (except for DOGE).

For sure, nobody will get their laptop, and will use it if they really wanted to pay using Bitcoin so I'm pretty sure that whenever they wanted to pay using Bitcoin, they will use a mobile wallet application to do it.
I'd suggest to accept different altcoins, because there are some altcoins that has a lower transaction fee than Bitcoin.

I want to say a very big congratulations to you for setting up such a business and integrating bitcoin as a means of payment. This is a very good step towards mass adoption of bitcoin. As persons who don't really know about the technology come around to patronize you, would be curious to know what bitcoin is and it would give you to opportunity to educate them and to promote bitcoin in your locality, and your country at large.
Keep it up man because there are only a few people doing that currently and you might trigger the curiosity of the people in your place. perhaps they will gonna search and want to learn about bitcoins when they heard about it because of you. There will be lots of questions raised when you do this so you better be careful and get ready to have some answers regarding their basic questions. Also, it's better to have multiple bitcoins payment methods rather than one to avoid major problems like delayed problems and etc.

Op Thank you for introducing Bitcoin to your business. You have taken a very nice step. OP since you are looking for a secure wallet here I suggest you to use Electrum Wallet or mycelium Wallet. Both these wallets are very secure. You can also use exchange wallets for those customers who don't want to pay in this wallet. Can introduce p2p payment system for them. For this you can use Kucoin and Binance exchange as p2p exchange. In p2p system it takes only a few seconds to get from the customer's account to your account. You find it most suitable to introduce p2p system in your business. And I always wish God's best for your business so that you can be successful. I will not totally criticize the effort of the op seeing that this kind of thread is common in the forum rather I will encourage the op to do well to accept Bitcoin as a means of payment in the business and also show some evidence with some purchases made using Bitcoin so that we all will be convinced about the good work you've done.

good that there are people who are extending their business to accept and adopt bitcoin and for me ? this is a best way to compete with other gas station and also to open peoples Eyes in your community that there are other things they can use aside from Fiat in which government can sequester .

Nice initiative mate, you have taken to bold step in accepting bitcoin as an alternative means of payment in your business and also to use it as a medium to teach your customers about bitcoin. Since your business is a small one,you should use an electrum wallet which has already been measure by posters above. After the week sales,you can convert your capital to fiat at leave your profit in bitcoin, because you will need fiat currency to buy more products. The volatile nature of bitcoin makes it unadvisable to leave all your income in bitcoin.
But OP would be investing in more money by putting an ATM, I think that there's not a lot of people that would probably use their bitcoin to pay for such utilities, even with the discount, bitcoin is too precious to be used as a means of payment. The scenario that keeps playing in my head is what would happen to OP's gas station if the prices go down the next day and that next day is also the time for his restocking in supplies, how can he profit if not break even.
Many people use bitcoin as a means of payment, not everyone considers bitcoin as an investment. But accepting bitcoin for a gas station, I don't think it will work well. I mean, most of us want to fill up fast and leave immediately, waiting and jostling at gas stations is a regular occurrence, and it will take us longer to pay with bitcoin. If it were me, I would not use bitcoin in this case, and cash is still more convenient.
As for accepting bitcoin for business as just a way to attract more customers, I don't think anyone will hold bitcoins once paid, most will convert to fiat immediately.
