Thanks, i saw that, but cannot figure out what the hell sets the PrimeNodeRate value?

I don't see any prime address on the rich list with any particularly larger balance either... anyone know what wallet they speak of?

Holy hell, thanks for that - I just barely found it in wallet.cpp (I assumed gaw would be using their own super heavy-duty armor-flex staking wallet so i wasn't looking there, oops)!

if (mapArgs.count("-primenodekey") && mapArgs.count("-primenoderate")) // paycoin: primenode priv key

I think its pretty bad when this reddit thread that begs BTCMiami to not allow Josh Garza speak at the conference: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2r0twz/josh_garza_must_not_be_allowed_to_speak_at_the/
Has 130 upvotes... does that mean that 130 people don't like Josh Garza just on reddit within 3 hours?
Its the second thread on reddit.com/r/bitcoin
I'd dump all my xpy now!

Gaw used to be sucessful company so people believe in it

How were they successful?

They were a legitimate reseller of Zeus and GridSeed ASIC's earlier in 2014. Then after that fell apart they decided that a cloud mining business would be a good idea . . .

I think it would be more accurate to say they sold Gridded and rebranded Zeus ASICs. I don't know that I would go so far as to say that they were legitimate. There was lying even back then. At the time, I thought it was just a small business guy who was in over his head. I figured they really didn't understand how to run the business and stretched the truth in an effort to placate customers who were having issues. In retrospect, their ethics and morals were questionable even then. You should see some of the lies that customer service was telling back then. It was just more contained because the customer base was smaller.

i'm actually going over the source now looking for this but i'm not seeing it ... anyone else looking? my C++ is rusty, but not all gone... Grin

Code:
int64 GetProofOfStakeReward(int64 nCoinAge, int primeNodeRate)
{

    int64 nSubsidy = 0;
    int64 nRewardCoinYear = 0;  // creation amount per coin-year

    if (primeNodeRate == 0)
        nRewardCoinYear = 5 * CENT;
    else if (primeNodeRate == 10)
        nRewardCoinYear = 10 * CENT;
    else if (primeNodeRate == 20)
        nRewardCoinYear = 20 * CENT;
    else if (primeNodeRate == 100)
        nRewardCoinYear = 100 * CENT;
    else if (primeNodeRate == 350)
        nRewardCoinYear = 350 * CENT;

    nSubsidy = nCoinAge * nRewardCoinYear * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8);

    if (fDebug && GetBoolArg("-printcreation"))
        printf("GetProofOfStakeReward(): primeNodeRate=%d create=%s nCoinAge=%"PRI64d"\n", primeNodeRate, FormatMoney(nSubsidy).c_str(), nCoinAge);

I think I will use a Google drive spreadsheet to put all the archived stuff into a single spot for ease of access and make it public.  As I see them posted I will get them added.

Please gather them up and post it, I will directly forward all financial promises that Josh has made to the SEC.

I'm going to need help, there are way to many pages to go through to find them all.  Send me private messages of the links and maybe synopsis of the link will help a lot.

You can search the archive itself:

https://archive.today/hashtalk.org

just add different parameters if you think you missed something.

edit: since they blocking it there are a number of other similar services:

http://alternativeto.net/software/archive-is/

like wise you can search, find google cache all his shit, then archive.today the cached version

Thanks I will sift through it and try to find the important ones, but with 7700 posts that will take awhile.

I am actually class of '84. I remember the first time I read 1984 and thinking, "Wow, good thing nothing like that could ever happen here". WRONG. Wishful thinking based on the programming we are all subjected to. Now of course it is plainly obvious to anyone paying attention that we live in a society that is a mixture of 1984/Brave New World/ Clockwork Orange with a good slathering of Idiocracy.

All three are great reads from the dystopia bookshelf. I am glad I had an opportunity to read them in high school.
