Looks like people who are left behind in the wake of the "Joshnado of Financial Doom" are having to pick up the pieces and payback Joshnado's scams.  The "new" company behind the old gaw high speed internet have now started paying BACK the money Vermont gave to Joshnado.

"He started GAW High Speed Internet under the name Great Auk Wireless in 2005 with Stuart Fraser, the vice chairman of the New York City investment firm Cantor Fitzgerald, according to documents from the Vermont Secretary of State’s Office. "

I'd rather say the former vice chairman.

200 hundreds of them, grab them while you can, i'm trying to archive the whole lot before the vanish.

good lord!! as if his scammy ass doesnt already have a big enough  footprint pasted all over the freakin intertoobz...

Yep, I believe that his narcissism will be his ultimate undoing.

My Guess is that when he does end up in court, he would rather have the public passing around these pictures instead of the ones with his expensive cars. Passing them around will only help him out.

How will passing around these pictures change the fact that he ran a ponzi scheme?

It's a complicated scam, with obviously, many side-branches. I imagine the agencies want to do this proper, so it will take longer. "Merica" ya know. Tongue

Puzzled by the arrest of Martin Shkreli and not Homero?  Quick look at his notes on the SEC site, the docs are almost identical in verbiage:

SEC Charges Martin Shkreli with Fraud

On December 17, 2015, the Securities and Exchange Commission charged Martin Shkreli, former CEO of pharmaceutical company Retrophin, with committing fraud during a 5-year period when he also was working as a hedge fund manager.

The SEC alleges that Martin Shkreli misappropriated money

SEC Charges Bitcoin Mining Companies

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged two Bitcoin mining companies and their founder with conducting a Ponzi scheme that used the lure of quick riches from virtual currency to defraud investors.

According to the SEC's complaint filed in federal court in Connecticut, "mining" for Bitcoin or other virtual currencies means applying computer power to try to solve complex equations that verify a group of transactions in that virtual currency. The first computer or collection of computers to solve an equation is awarded new units of that virtual currency.

The SEC alleges that Homero Joshua Garza perpetrated the fraud

Why would the one be arrested by the FBI and not the other?  Did he get arrested because he ignored the summons while Homero answered his? Anyone have legal knoweldge as to how and why one would be arrested and the other not? We need that main page splash with Homero in handcuffs before the end of the year!

Don't forget, this was something he did many years ago (as early as 2009) & it was a hedge fund, not a silly little crypto coin thing  Wink

So it may take a few more years  Sad

What I am not seeing in your quoted material is an FBI arrest report. Consequently, all I can do is speculate. And I do so thusly:

SEC files civil charges. FBI investigates criminal charges. Civil trial discovery process may yield additional evidence usable in building criminal charges. Were SEC civil charges filed at the same time as FBI criminal charges in the Shkrell case? Wait for it....

That's got to be it. Completely forgot about the two aspects. Civil and Criminal. It has always been said here and elsewhere the FBI, IRS, Homeland, etc. all running their own investigations at the same time as the SEC. Has to be that those are taking a bit longer. Where there might be hope is that we don't see a summons issued for Homero in the SEC court docs.  While they were issued and sent for zen and gaw, not Homero at this time. Can it be they feel there is no need to right now, in that they know the FBI is going be hauling his sorry ass shackled and cuffed in, in the immediate future.  Timing could not be better, distinctly recall all the woeful tales exactly this time last year of his victims having to forgo Christmas 2014 because of his scamcoin. Think there were even pathetic stories where some couldn't buy their kids a sock to stuff no presents in come Christmas day.
