Correct. Even their "legit" period was (1) a preorder - they started selling massive amounts of hashlets in August and only got the data center ready in October - and (2) fractional - they never owned enough miners to cover all sold hashlets.

May have been mining but nothing was legit about it. If it was legit then people would have been paid for mining and the power company would have been paid for the power consumed.

well its possible he is being blackmailed (its not likely but its still a possibility we have to think about). if the other entities holding PC's didnt like the way XPY was going but they were in the minority position, but had some dirt they directly didnt do but which is against the law (lets say SEC related)

this way they could pressure Garza with a public conversation to accept a crappy deal & shut the talk down
if the hangout talk magically disappears from agenda, this would be pretty likely

i hope its not true since some of those people seem like normal ppl
