Hi,
Can you write about approx. hosting costs?

I have contacted various hosting providers from dedicated colo to individuals with rented storage space.  The rates vary quite considerably.

Cheapest is not always best the best option. Rates vary from .08 to .04 kwh  plus  miner management fees.

I have a provider selected already, but am constantly looking for better options. Will be finalizing a provider soon, and can post final costs.

Cheers

Thanks for answer
Could you provide approx. fee based on your current selection?

My first choice for hosting is $350 a month, but am reviewing some possibilities a $250 to $200 a month

Two questions:

1) Do investors have an option to change their mind and get full refund before the money is transferred to Cointerra?

Yes, but careful consideration should be priority before placing any preorders. I have returned BTC to investors in other GB's who opted out before hardware was purchased

2) Will excess payment for shares be returned in full on the very same day when the payment to Cointerra is completed?

If share price is adjusted accordingly, there should be a small positive/negative balance. In my other GB's I am balancing share purchase payment with  first dividend payment.

It just makes the work load  easier if balancing the books is all done at one time

Also the positive balance can go towards other expenses such as shipping, and setup fees.

It can both ways as well, there could be a negative balance as well if exchange rates drop quickly too.

Thanks.

There is no escrow, such as John K, for this, correct?

JohnK has verified my identity and my details will be released in case of any defaults

Then you should have no problem with accepting John K as full escrow, to hold the coins until the miner is verified as up and running by John K. If this is no problem for you I would be happy to invest some coins into your project, sir.

And who will pay for the Terraminer, if the coins are held in escrow? this is a preorder purchase

Once miner is paid for the BTC is in Cointerra's wallet, not mine. So the question is do you trust Cointerra to deliver on time?

I have transactions in 100's of BTC in my other GB's and every transaction is transparent  and accounted for on a public spreadsheet.

If you would like escrow, look at my Xcrowd GB, it is escrowed

Can you say if Anon is one person or many people you group together under the name anon?

The reason the investor/investors want to remain anon are exactly that

Anyways, as you said "will adjust as USD/BTC exchange rate changes as Terraminer are priced in USD.", what ticker are you using for the BTC -> USD conversion? For example, bitcoinaverage says the current average is roughly 137$ per BTC. You are selling 80 shares, each at 1.5 BTC, giving 120 BTC or currently $16,440. You said later than any excess will be returned to the purchasers, so is this conversion done at the moment of purchase?

https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates , share price is adjusted weekly to try and follow the price swings.  Any debit/credit on share purchase is adjusted with first dividend payment

What will your timing be from moment of reviving the miner to having it up and running in the DC? A week? 24 hours?

Will be using expedited shipping to get the hardware mining as quickly as possible. I would expect to be mining within 36 to 48 hours of hardware being released from Cointerra

"management fees are 2.5 % of BTC mined after expenses are deducted.(expenses include but are not limited too, hosting, repairs, shipping, taxes)"
So 2.5% includes the expenses such as hosting and repairs? This seems obvious but I just want to make sure.

management fees do not include any expenses, they are subtracted seperately

And last question, though not as serious, will you be posting an unboxing video or pictures? I am sure there are plenty who would absolutely love to see this machine and how it runs and whatnot, especially the packaging. Ok, well maybe just me about the packaging. Tongue

An unboxing video could be included very easily, I would make arrangements with hosting provider to make a video.

Thanks.

Excellent opportunity.
For diversity, lets get this GB rolling.  soniq has an excellent track record and manages his GBs very professionally.
