I will likely say that decentralized exchange are not too porous to hackers because there is not too much concentration on retention or safe where  holders store their crypto assets or funds compared to the centralized exchange which is always a target for scammers and hackers.
Maybe got a point. But if we are talking about incident, we cant really exclude even dex or cex. Of course its much safer for dex since a lot of people focuses on cex. But if the security they have still not strong enough to prevent someone to penetrate then it still be possible. Anyway OPs question really have a tight answer anyway.
Very correct sir. The security features of the CEX matters too because the CEX depends on it for the safety and as such, must be highly sophisticated to protect the funds and assets of holders but dex does not really hold funds but rather they do swap one only needs to connect their wallet to do swap unlike CEX that requires retransfer out of your own custody to a third party. So in all bother are still porous but anyone dealing needs apply caution as it is said "not your keys, not your coin"

What is the most unhackable crypto platform?
If you think there is any unhackable crypto platform you are wrong, I don't want to deceive myself and start believing that there is any 100% secured platforms, even the decentralized exchanges, the best thing you should do online is keep your assets far away from any centralized and decentralized exchanges, I know that very few DeX get hacked compare to Cex but it's still possible so instead of looking for an unhackable exchange keep your assets away from any exchange.

No exchange is immune to hacking; once hackers discover their vulnerability, they will use it against them. The more security measures put into protecting users assets, the more hackers are also investing more time in upgrading their tools.

The only good thing about decentralized exchanges is that your funds are not stored in them, so even if they are hacked, you will only have little to lose since you will have to disconnect your wallet from the DEX when you are done using it. It's only when your funds are still there that hacks will affect you, like what I read about Etherdelter.

If hackers can penetrate smart contracts and create their own token or do whatever they want with it, to what length do you think they can go? Some exchanges have stronger security than others, but that still doesn't make them immune from being hacked.

All systems are prone to being hacked if they don't improve their security and this is the main reason why we see maintenances and updates being done. Because the hackers are also able to follow such security measures and the only way to give them some hard time is to update systems and security updates. Also, the users part is also playing the most crucial part, let's say a platform has the strongest security but the user isn't aware on how to take care of his keys and prone to being a victim of phishing. That's also a factor why someone gets hacked and not the platform itself.

What is the most unhackable crypto platform?
Are you asking for a wallet or an exchange? Either case, there is no programming that cannot be hacked, you just have to minimize the risk by hodling your coins in a non custodial wallet or more preferable a hardware wallet. This way you are solely responsible for your coins because you alone hold the private keys to your wallet. How safe these wallets and your coins are will mostly depend on your personal security, your job is to keep your seed phrase safe.
I still share in your believe and the one of all other users coming in this thread. There is nothing that is unhackable, the difference is the effort the hackers will put in order to hack the platform. If they are going to spend nearly what they will gain if they hack the platform, is their any need in embarking in the vain mission?
Any code that is open and in the hands of the people will likely find a bug quicker than closed source, especially if many people are interested in the project.
Decentralized non custodial wallet has proven to be more secured.

Trust me, there's nothing in the world that is unhackable. Everything could be hacked and it's usually due to specific details and new tricks. When you mention a crypto platform, are you referring to an exchange or simply a wallet for holding your Bitcoin?

There are indeed some excellent exchanges and wallets available, but I wouldn't claim they are 100% safe. For exchanges, I would recommend using a decentralized exchange, as mentioned by _act_ earlier. As for wallets, I would suggest either using a hardware wallet such as Trezor or any other option except Ledger. Alternatively, you can set up an air-gapped device for storing your Bitcoin and that's pretty safe too if you know how to do it.

So therefore, it invariably means that platforms are possibly still hackable irrespective of how strong their security architectures are. The hack on the FTX exchange  should be a case study OP.

Use decentralized exchanges like Bisq. All centralized exchanges can be hacked, do not believe in them. There are some other decentralized exchanges that you can use too but I prefer Bisq.

https://bisq.network/

Decentralized exchange too can be hacked, they are good for privacy. Read other posts, like the one posted by cryptoaddictchie

Are you sure your answer answered the op question, because he is asking of crypto and not exchange. And if he is asking for crypto I will recommend bitcoin and Ethereum. And if he is asking of exchange I will also recommend an exchange that can be use both in desktop and Mobil Phone.

Bisq that you recommended is not working in Mobile phone, that is there is no Android Version of it and desktop can't be move around to all the destination you travel to. Bisq would have been the best exchange so far but since there is no Android Version, it becomes insolated.

Nothing, nothing is safe OP. This is easy ground for hackers. So it's not strange if a platform must have team IT guarding their platform from attacks and sometimes it penetrates too. So, what @cryptoaddictchie conveys is real and that's how it is. So, if there is a new strange issue developing. it's a good idea to withdraw funds first, then if it has subsided if you want to enter again.

Such a childish question. Because nothing in the world is fully loophole-free. Even if the developer of some projects are claiming that they have made a hack-proof platform but still hackers always find a way to sneak into the project and loot people's money. While they do not even know what is happening to them. So the simplest answer to your query is:

There is not a single platform that could assure you full security from both sides. This means they can assure you full security from their side but what if the keys and seed phrases of your project or wallet are compromised by some hacker then who is responsible for that? It's you, so they cannot take assurity from your side because you are the one clicking on phishing scam links and providing a back door to hacker to enter the system.

Let's say the same humanoid mistake would happen from companies side if one of the employee click on some phishing link and being compromised then total project will be at risk.

At the end, every project is hack proof unless someone within the system made some mistake intentionally or intentionally and you were asked example. In my POV, every BTC based product is a perfect example like Electrum wallet, bisq DEXs etc.

What is the most unhackable crypto platform?
There are no unhackable crypto platforms in the world. Each of them has either been hacked in the past or will be hacked in the future. I want to say that a security system can't be created that can't be hacked.

Most unhackable or not, it won't matter to your money if it's stored on crypto platfor at the time of the hack. Losses are the same everywhere.

The safest approach would be to minimize the use of crypto platforms.

Permit me to differ I don't think there is any platform that can't be hacked even the accounts of the most protected secret agent can still be hacked, this is a believe I have always had and has help me not to be complacent in anything especially in things that has to do with crypto-currency

I am a big user of decentralized exchanges I love the fact that it protects my identity by supporting privacy protection and anonymity but definitely I won't straight forward say an exchange can't be hacked, the fact that it hasn't yet happened doesn't mean it can happen always protect yourself and follow simple rules and instructions.

What is the most unhackable crypto platform?

Anything that remains decentralized will be difficult to hack such as the forum here, using a decentralized wallet and most importantly being anonymous in whatever you're doing that includes bitcoin in cryptocurrency, some other cryptocurrencies could make you hackable as well if you're using a centralized wallet for them, some of them were also centralized digital currencies, bitcoin is the best option you can always get more of privacy and security while using it, any platform that does not allow for KYC is also a good recommendation in this.

What is the most unhackable crypto platform?
Obviously Decentralized exchanges are the most unhackable crypto platforms. But as some users said that they can be hacked too I want to add that if it happens there is a very little possibility to hack any popular decentralized exchanges as like Uniswap, Pancakeswap.

Now think about, What you will do when decentralized exchanges aren't fully safe? Use DEXs to buy sell Cryptocurrencies and more your funds to non custodial wallets. And use non custodial crypto wallets which is open source like Electrum, Mycelium, Blue Wallet. They can't be hacked if you don't share your phrase to someone or connect your wallet to a Phising site. You should also avoid closed source non custodial wallets like Trust Wallet and others as you don't know how the phrases are created.

When was Bisq hacked? Prove this.
This was announced last time and even on the news. Not sure why you arent familiar.

Anyway found a source:
https://www.coindesk.com/tech/2020/04/08/hacker-exploits-flaw-in-decentralized-bitcoin-exchange-bisq-to-steal-250k/

Anything online can be hacked, I agree, but the decentralized exchanges that are hacked are those that support staking and something like that, that attracts hackers.
So bisq doesnt support staking? If not why they got hacked before? Surely you cant be bias about dex that doesnt offers staking cant be hack. There are no exception and thats the fact. Even the most genius person in the world creating a 100% proof of defense against hacker can still be compromise.

OP's question btw is kinda stiff. Since he ask for unhackable platform? Maybe the best answer there are those platforms that have no record of hacked or breached before isnt it. At least they can brag that.

What is the most unhackable crypto platform?
Your question is good, but without knowing what you are trying to use, do you want to transfer to cash or exchange between cryptocurrencies, and other details, you will get a guess without an accurate answer.

It is true that DEXs are safer, but not the fastest. You may not find sufficient liquidity and are not as easy as the options of CEXs. Therefore, whoever wants to exchange a small amount or save fees and directly withdraw, some CEXs are good.

If you intend to invest periodically and the time factor is not important to you and you want to enhance the privacy and security, then https://bisq.network/ is the best. In any case, it is your knowledge and your keenness that you do not download random programs that make the possibility of hacking your coins more difficult.

Decentralized exchanges like Bisq.
This got hacked before. So even decentralized and centralized can both be hacked. Its just depend how smart those hackers and evolve to the point they can even crack even the hardest one to penetrate.
When was Bisq hacked? Prove this.

You just saying platform gives us so many options but Incase you're referring to exchanges or decentralized exchanges to be precise you can go with _act_'s suggestion.

Based on different cryptocurrency news outlets a crypto platform is most often referred to as a place swapping or trading of cryptocurrencies take place, so basically this might be a question regarding an exchange. As you say the best option would be a decentralized exchange but that too isn’t also immune to been hacked.

The only way to reduce the risk is treating all platforms as a market place where you only trade or buy and then take your funds back to your wallet. Being your own bank (which is also not a guaranteed that your keys won’t be compromised) is the only way out.
You have no coin to store in decentralized exchange like Bisq, the exchanges are for buying and selling coins like bitcoin directly from your wallet to your wallet, or to exchange to certain fiat.
