Saw a rummor that United is set to sell Di Maria to Barcelona and buy Pedro instead. You know something about that?

Real look seriously off the pace at the moment
They need to pull up their socks pronto or they are gonna miss out on all the trophies

They're probably already gonna miss out on them. Barca will probably take the double though Barca and Madrid in the final would be great (if it's possible).

Real Madrid is through to the next round but not without damage.

If they play like this and face Barcelona or Bayern in the Champions League they will get knocked out.

Bayern and Real to roll into the quarters in tonights games
Anybody think shakhtar have a serious prayer?

Bayern are playing tomorrow. It's Real Madrid and Porto tonight, but no they should comfortably beat Shakhtar.

Barcelona today successfully managed to take over spot 1 from Real Madrid.

Messi was fenomenal, what a beast he is.

Suarez is getting better in finding the back of the net it seems.

Big names but they don't play any better than the players of West Ham, Swansea, Stoke, etc.

Looking forward to their FA cup match against Arsenal.

I really think Arsenal will win it quite easily if United won't use the parked bus method.

United have got the strikers they're just not putting them in the back of the net. They've been playing very mediocre recently and they were lucky to get a late goal against West Ham. Arsenal are far stronger. I think they'll win but MUFC will be lucky to get a draw but they're at home so it's possible.

United currently is nothing more than an average team with a few big names. That's it.

They have a lot of big names. Mata, Di Maria, RVP, Rooney and others, they should have done much better. Have to say LVG has surprised me with his brand of turgid hoofball.

My picks for the midweek games:

Hull City v Sunderland 1-1
Southampton v Crystal Palace 2-1
Aston Villa v West Brom 0-1
Man City v Leicester City 3-1
Stoke City v Everton 1-0
West Ham v Chelsea 1-2
Tottenham v Swansea City 2-1
Newcastle v Man United 1-2
QPR v Arsenal 0-2
Liverpool v Burnley FC 3-0

11 points. My best yet I think.

There's only one Premier League game this weekend until next because of the FA Cup quarter finals. Few midweek Champions league games as well.

The race to get a top 4 finish is now looking exciting. 5 teams for the last two spots and all 1 point behind their previous team (48/47/46/45/44). Arsenal and Liverpool have gone in form at the correct time and are my picks to get into Champions League.

It's a very exciting fight, indeed.

However, I think United will lose the fight in the comming matches and lose more space.

I find it hard to believe they can get their hands on a Champions League ticket.

Looking likely now, their fixtures are brutal. Arsenal and Liverpool are going to get the last two spots.

Yeah, and also, when United faces Arsenal or Liverpool now, they won't get away with a lucky win this time.

United currently is nothing more than an average team with a few big names. That's it.

Getting a feeling that while Man City may not get Guardiola, they may well end up getting a slightly over the hill Messi
The recent rude comments about his love for pizza by a Barca functionary seems to be setting that move up

I wouldnt listen to media rumors. Messi is contracted to Barca until 2017 and they've just made him the highest paid footballer in the world http://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/sport/football/10054999/Barcelona-to-make-Messi-highest-paid-player

"I think that last season he ate more pizzas than he should have done or was necessary."

And do you really think  a silly comment like that would make him ditch his club?

Nah, I think City's season goes belly up from here
Chelsea have the title wrapped up this year. Think Man U will get pipped to CL spots by Pool and Arsenal
