Thought I would also post an update regarding my 11GH/s SHA 256 contract.

As some of you know, I was doing a series of comparison videos from September against GAW Miners and their hashlets and some GM contracts.

Well at around December everything started going downhill as Scrypt hashlet payouts from GAW started to become zero and then GM then stopped Scrypt contracts in February.

So the status as of June as is follows.

GAW Miners Hashlets....Gone....Finished ...eradicated, whatever...

GM 1 MH/s contract and 10GH/s SHA 256 contract....  1 MH/s contract was terminated, was given 1GH/s instead, so my 10GH/s SHA 256 contract became 11GH/s

Still getting payouts with GM every day but really small.

My Contract with GM started on 14th September 2014, first payout was on the 15th September.

So over 8 months later, lets see how much ROI I have got back.

The GM contracts cost a total of 0.0562 BTC, seems cheap compared to now but Bitcoin was 470 USD then too.

So far I have been paid back (based on payout up to Mining Day 22.06.2015) 0.04096345 BTC

This means that so far I have been paid 72.88 % back.

Regarding GAW Miners..well that has stopped for ages. No more payouts
GAW Miners contracts cost 0.103 BTC and I received 0.05048658 BTC back.
So around 49 % back.

As payouts from GM are pretty small for 11GH/s it could take a while before I get ROI back completely. If the Scrypt payouts had not stopped, I think we would have reached it by now.

Genesis Mining lowered their pricing in the last day or so.

50 GH/s is now 22.49 USD, was 24.49 USD, Saving 2 USD.

1 TH/s is now 419 USD, was 469 USD, Saving 50 USD

15 TH/s is now 5850 USD, was 6750 USD, Saving 900 USD

Here is a video about it.

With the last results, 0,00375 BTC per Th/s per day, you'd need (with BTC at 240 USD) to recoup 1,746 BTC, divided by 0,0375 would end up with ROI after 465 days. And a half to be exact.
I wouldn't consider buying at this point. Are there people actually buying in on this at this point?

ROI figures I think are really hard to calculate just because of how the daily fees and other variables affect it all the time.

For example 1TH payout today, over a month after this was originally posted is now 0.0038252 BTC a day and 1 TH costs 1.721 BTC so ROI would now be 449 Days.
If a code was used that would reduce the cost of 1TH to 1.669 BTC and this means it would be 436 days. Still a long while but just trying to show how different ROI can be over weeks etc. If BTC continues to rise then ROI will decrease.

Hi Guys.

Sorry not been posting for a while.

Anyway an update for you.

Have recently purchased 50GH/s with Hashnest to compare 50GH/s payout with Spondoolies Cloud Mining and Genesis Mining.

So now will supply payout info for GM, Spondoolies and Hashnest S5.

I purchased the S5 Hashpower from the Hashnest Market.

Hope you find this useful.

I paid 0.07202624 BTC for the hashpower at Hashnest. I just bought at the rate it was selling at the time so that can vary.

All payouts below are after the fee has been removed.

Genesis Mining Mining Day 22.06.2015  0.00019126

Spondoolies Cloud Mining Day 22.06.2015 0.00018109

Hashnest S5 50 GH/s payout  22.06.2015  0.00019864

A blog post I noticed today.

Quite a few companies seem to messing up recently, Bitcoincloud Services seem to be the latest and even though I have BTC tied up in a few places, they do make some interesting points

As always I think the best policy is to try and be careful and just invest what you can afford to lose.

It's strange people are buying there at all... The only reason I would think of - is to get some altcoins they want, but then again - they can just buy them on an exchange with no problems. They get a lot of publicity, maybe that's the way how they attract new customers and some of them probably does not even care to compare the prices.. Oh, and forgot to mention, they accept credit cards.
