Germany is a developed country. So I am not surprised that they will accept Bitcoin as well as Switzerland. Dannsaya believes they are reviewing Bitcoin very closely.

I'm sure this will be followed by in many countries that support Bitcoin,
just how they seek the best concept so that service providers or business actors do not lose if received Bitcoin as an alternative payment.

The number of businesseses that accept payment with cryptocurrencies is increasing day by day. The reputation of cryptocurrencies continues to grow. German National Tourist Board (GNTB) wants to accept bitcoin as an alternative payment method for its digitalisation strategy.
The reputation of bitcoin is increasing and with the transaction charges back to normal we will see more companies start accepting it, it is a good thing to see a government body is accepting bitcoin and so their approach toward bitcoin is evident and expect these sort of attitude from major European countries too, hopefully we will have a clear picture about regulation this year around the world and the market starts to rise again.

Commercial businesses started to accept Bitcoin as a payment method, because i think they realized that Bitcoins future will be very bright. Simplification of paying with Bitcoin or other cryptos will increase the cryptocurrency usage rate even more.

The GNTB, who works on behalf of the German federal government, intends to pilot the underpinning technology of crypto — the blockchain technology — in their finance division. In the interim, the organization will use cryptocurrencies for international payments. It is the first time a government-linked entity has come forward to accept cryptocurrencies.

Yeah, more and more businesses start to accept bitcoin as a payment method and that is surely a very good thing for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Even though at the beginning not many people going to actually use bitcoin to pay for different things I am sure that in time the number of people that pay with bitcoin will grow dince it starts to be accepted in a lot of businesses. Also, one of the advantage of paying with bitcoin is that you can do it anywhere(of course where they accept bitcoin), so that if you dont have any money at you or you cant exchange your money in another currency you can pay directly with bitcoin

Tourism is one of the fields where the implementation of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is most interesting. One of the usual concerns of tourists is having to make the currency exchange from one country to another. Bitcoin can act as a global currency with which a tourist can pay in another country without having to exchange their fiat currency to the local currency.

This is actually pretty huge, mainly because it's coming from Germany (not some small european country), and also because it's coming from the GNTB, an organization that works on behalf of the government with agencies around the world. And if the strategy to incorporate cryptocurrencies is actually succesful, it could have a snowball effect in other countries (if the govt start seeing cryptos in a positive light, then it's a matter of time before merchats do), and that will get us closer to the beginning of the adoption phase of cryptocurrencies. All in all, i'm actually excited for this news.

This is a great news for crypto. First from France and now from Germany. Hope to see more adoption of crypto in the EU and the rest of the world.

While this is goodnews, we can't inflate the news that we're getting. This is a random tourist board that isn't going to mean anything anyway, we need the companies inside the country accepting -- not government agencies. Both are nice, but we need more companies then governments as there are many more companies!

Petra Hedorfer, chair of the board of GNTB, explains: “Within our digitalisation strategy we continuously test newest technologies and trends to see if they could be useful for our company. Through accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method and the possible medium-term implementation of the blockchain technology in our finance sector our international company wishes to set ourselves apart as an innovator and instigator within the tourism industry.”

This is a very strong statement and it shows how the acceptance of crypto currencies is soon becoming widespread and the day is not too far when such kind of realization would dawn upon every global organization. It shows that how people have started accepting the crypto network and they value the fact that it is a step ahead towards innovation and henceforth the furtherance of economic development of a nation.

All the above mentioned things means the cryptos are regulated and those who accept bitcoin and other cryptos are implementing KYC/AML regulations. And this is not bad, because that time most of the average people will buy the cryptos (or mine them, but not receiving them from shady businesses), so they will be fine with the regulations. For those, who are against the regulations there will always be possible to use Monero or some kind of similar and privacy focused coins. And because regulation and contol is not the same things, cryptos can remain decentralized in the future.
