The book that was banned for nearly a century gets a release

Some of the biggest-selling books of all time are also the most unread. Who actually finished A Brief of History of Time? How many have read the Bible in its entirety? Or, for that matter, the Koran?

Mein Kampf fits easily into this category of blockbusting tomes whose spines have never been cracked. Dictated by Adolf Hitler to Rudolf Hess while the two men were imprisoned in Landsberg, in the wake of the Nazis’ failed coup in Munich in November 1923, Mein Kampf – which translates as “My Struggle” – would, over the next two decades, be bought or given to over 12 million Germans.

Some excerpts

“The Judaization of our spiritual life and the mammonization of our mating impulse sooner or later befouls our entire new generation,” Hitler writes in his chapter on the causes of the German defeat in 1918, “for instead of vigorous children of natural feeling, only the miserable specimens of financial expedience come forth.”

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/history/world-war-two/9224512/Bavaria-to-release-Adolf-Hitlers-Mein-Kampf.html

This book is already widely available if you live out side of Germany or Europe for that matter.

Is this even worth reading? i've keep seeing it being mentioned for years to the point I got tired of it before even trying to attempt to read it.

I look forward to reading the book. Glad people can get it again. This is progress.

Hitler´s Table Talk 1941-1944 isn´t too bad. You can download it off the net like Mein Kampf of course.

If every German had actually read Mein Kempf they'd seen how boring and nutty the book is and Adolf would've never come to power.

I wonder how actual nazis in germany will respond top this? Will they see it as a victory?

John Kerry's a big dude.  What's he doing in all these pictures lately.  If I ever meet him I'm going to be like, "step back, John Kerry... don't man-handle me!"

If I ever came face to face with John Kerry I'd scream in horror. He looks like he's had his face cut off then re-attached. Dunno what happened or if he had a stroke or something but he looks fucked and fucking scary.

Banning books? Isn't that exactly what the Nazis did? You shouldn't ever ban books or ideologies no matter how perverse the politics or beliefs are.

technically it is not banned, it's just that bavaria, who helds the copyright, doesnt want it to be reprinted - until now or rather start of the next year when it will be rereleased after ~70 years

If it is anywhere near as boring as Ayn Rand's stuff then I don't think I'd bother even trying to wade through it.

Cheesy

I think it's at the same level. Only Lacan can be even more boring, that cunt was such a dense fuck.

Ukrainian National Guard soldier wearing nazi SS insignia. Blatant, huh ?

It's scary to see this Nazi stuff again.  They are like evil little cults.

In the unlikely event that you´ll see this in the pile of horse dung that passes for U.S. mass media, it´ll be don´t worry these are our nazis, the good kind, like our good dictators and good terrorists. They may be sons of bitches but they´re our sons of bitches. And, nono the Russians won´t be pissed at all having armed nazi goons running around in their back yard. Not after losing millions of people fighting the same shit.

The Azov Battalion (Бaтaльйoн Aзoв). The Azov Battalion -which displays the Nazi SS emblem– (below left) is described by the Kiev regime as “a volunteer battalion of territorial defense”. It’s a National Guard battalion under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.  Officially based in Berdyank on the Sea of Azov, it was formed by the regime to fight the opposition insurgency in Eastern and Southern Ukraine. It is financed by the US administration.

This is perfect timing. Maybe they can a copy to Obama and Cameron, because their support for Ukraine is just like nazi collaboration!

Yeah and one of their very dearest nazi pals over there was whining about the Soviet invasion of Germany in WW 2. In a press conference with Frau Merkel.  Grin

Oh, well I guess garbage and junk go well together and are attracted together.

Quote
In Germany, the online version of Spiegel magazine satirically wrote: "Indeed, since 1942, Soviet troops had been moving relentlessly to the West and were not afraid to pursue the army of the democratically elected chancellor Adolf Hitler even on the Ukrainian territory. (...) Finally, the Soviets transgressed the eastern border of Germany and invaded its territory, as we all remember, together with Mr. Yatsenyuk."

Downloaded an audiobook in English on the torrents about a decade ago. And some scans in German and English.

It has probably been on YT for years like many other audiobooks, haven´t checked.

Any publication now is unlikely to be any gigantic news.
