If not for the slip ups of Dortmund in recent time, they would have been at a comfortable place at the top right now, but right now if they want to be Bundesliga champions they will have to do it the hard way.
I'm rooting for Dortmund anyway, I hope they can do it.

Dortmund has to win the Bundesliga title this season. This is the best chance that they are going to get. Actually, we don't even know how well Bayern Munich is actually going to perform in the matches that are left. Bayern Munich might end up winning each and every one of them. So I believe Dortmund will have to win all the matches that are left as well. Otherwise, they will be giving Bayern Munich another chance to win the Bundesliga title again. I also hope that Dortmund is able to win that won the Bundesliga title.

Dortmund are doing great at the moment. Dortmund is at the top of the points table after beating Bayern Munich. I think Dortmund won't be able to stay at the top of the points table for long because Bayern Munich will win the next matches very well and stay at the top of the points table.

In all fairness, you already pointed it out that the result doesn't really represent what happened during the game. Yes efficiency should always be an important factor and if one team manages to score better than another, the win is deserved, but still looking it realistically, these three points could have also ended up with Leipzig. They also had 69% ball possession, which is really high for an away game.

Now part of the story also is that Leverkusen barely got lucky this season. Especially early on they were really unlucky at times and that's why I think it might be a bit of a general fairness now that they took home these three points.

Next week Leverkusen has another big test to pass against Union Berlin. If they still want to preserve their little chance for the Champions League, I think they have to win it all.

I wouldn't say that Thomas Tuchel is inexperienced or not experienced enough for the Bundesliga. Tuchel coached Augsburg, Mainz, and Dortmund in the Bundesliga. And he was quite successful with these teams. Perhaps this is why the Bayern Munich management gave Tuchel the job of coach. However, out of 7 matches with Munich, he won only two. Lost in three. Munich is not playing well. Tuchel certainly needs to resolve this issue very quickly. If not, the Munich team will face big problems this season. They may even lose the title.

I have the same tough like you. It's a blunder from bayern. Bayern was much more consistent when the club was still being coached by naglessmann. Tuchle was bringing bayern to go down after he was coming. It seems like that if tuchel needs to make sure if bayern will go up again as soon as possible. It was losing a lot of goals against mainz. Tuchel was making an excuse by saying if the club was exhausted. Bayern's director was making a very bad choice. bayern may not also able to win bundesliga this season.

Bayern was losing its spirit. It seemed to me that if all of players are not interesting anymore to keep playing under tuchel. Tuchel was destroying everything in bayern. Oliver kahn was feeling disappointed after seeing bayern was losing again.
Bundesliga will be only a dream for bayern if it keeps perform like that. I will be fully supporting dortmund to take bundesliga this season.

This is a very good thing for dortmund at this moment consider how bad the performance from bayern under tuchel. Bayern was making serious blunder.

I think the paths are quite even for both. If Dortmund isn't totally insane, they are going to win that away game against Bochum first. Bayern vs. Hertha is a win for Bayern.

At home Dortmund has been the strongest team this season with 12 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. I don't think with this motivation they are going to lose a single point at home. The only game that my actually threaten them is Augsburg.

Bremen shouldn't be underestimated, but is probably a win for Bayern. But they still have Leipzig and I am very sure that Leipzig will also be fighting for the champions league qualification. Bayern won 9 out of 14 games at home. I think there is a chance for Leipzig to tie the game.

Union Berlin made the punch today and took those 3 points home. One of the most important 3-pointer of the season for them in my opinion as they now have 4 points over Leipzig. This might have been the qualifier for them.

That penalty was really the finishing move by Leverkusen today. Leipzig were much more impressive in the second half truthfully. Maybe it was due to Leverkusen's trying to just secure a 1-0 advantage to the end of the match as well. But Leipzig wasted numerous goal opportunities in the second half and Leverkusen punished them by a penalty goal and a red card. Leipzig players must be really disappointed with this loss after making a huge effort. This win was really crucial for Leverkusen as well.

Because they managed not only to get their position back from Mainz but also to get only four points behind Leipzig too. There are still 5 weeks to go hence I think this is enough time for Leverkusen to push their luck for a spot in the Europa League.

as far as I can remember it was probably the third time that Dortmund took over first place from Bayern Munich this season. In this season, Dortmund looks more powerful in the course of this season. They were able to go through hurdles after hurdles to reach the top spot in the standings. For Bayern Munich, they really have the strength to be able to turn things around and that can be the hope they have to fight for.

however, if until the end of the season Dortmund was able to perform better by winning, then Bayern Munich dream of becoming the Bundesliga champion this season has foundered.
