Bayern Munich's dominance is very difficult to break. Because there are no more rich clubs like Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. Dortmund and Union Berlin played well last season, but they are not as rich as Bayern Munich. Even so, I would say that Dortmund has the ability to break Bayern Munich's dominance. Because Dortmund has an experienced management. They can build a squad based on youth. And while the squad is young, they are capable of consistently producing excellent performances. If Dortmund doesn't make too many changes to their squad next season, I think this squad is capable of challenging Bayern Munich.
Dortmund is currently focused on developing young talent, but their main challenge lies in maintaining consistency. They came close to breaking Bayern's dominance last season, but unfortunately could not deliver at the end. Now, it's very tough ending their decade of dominance. If, by any chance, they fail to retain the Bundesliga title for one season, they'll end up purchase all the talented players from other Bundesliga teams in order to win it again. The truth is, none of the other Bundesliga teams are qualified enough to match Bayern's level. These teams are still in their early stages of development, lack of finance for making any quality recruitment and that's why they have a long way to go before reaching Bayern level.
That's just their current plan, but they usually focus on their new and younger talents more than anything else because Dortmund wants to have some income from selling players they have like Haaland and Bellingham. In fact, selling these players can help their financial situation is the first priority for Dortmund, otherwise and if they wanted to keep these young talents in their teams they could have more chance to win the Bundesliga title specially in the last season when Bayern Munich had bad situation and they could use this chance.
We all know that Borussia Dortmund is a football team that presents young players to the football world. They have produced great players in all these years, but strangely enough, they could not win a championship. Haaland, Bellingham are the last two examples of this. Before that, they had struggled with great players. I think they have to take the championship from Bayern now.
