It makes sense considering that with the return of Manuel Neuer to the Bayern Munich main squad, he will begin to fill the starting position for the main goalkeeper. Maybe this is not what any goalkeeper wants when he has to be eliminated from the competition and Manuel Neuer's role is indeed still an important figure as the final doorstop and also the captain for the team.

Sommer's potential to join Inter could have happened if Andre Onana had joined Manchester United, but in my opinion the current situation is not necessarily a reference for Sommer to replace Andre Onana later. Maybe if you think about it, even if you are only a back-up goalkeeper, at least Sommer can still get the Bundesliga title guarantee every season if he wants to stay.

There was no doubt that when Manuel Neuer will be coming back that he will be getting the Number 1 again.
If i would be Sommer i will be be watching for a new Club and if its possible with 34 years to get to Inter Milan then he should be doing it.

Bayern Munich managed to sign Yann Sommer in the winter of 2023 with a contract duration until the summer of 2025
I'm not sure Bayern Munich will pave the way for Inter Milan to sign Yann Sommer because basically Sommer was prepare as an alternative option to replace Manuel Neuer, with his experience the club has hopes for the 34-year-old goalkeeper. While there is several goalkeeper options in the Munich squad, Sommer is one of the best, and that will be consider by Munich

Without a doubt, Manuel Neuer is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. But he'll be back from a prolonged injury. He may experience performance problems when he returns to the team. If Yann Sommer doesn't mind being a substitute, I think Bayern Munich can keep two experienced goalkeepers in their squad. They had serious problems in the title race because Manuel Neuer was absent last season. Yann Sommer had good matches for them. Sommer is already 34 years old. I believe he should move now if he wants to. I don’t think it will be a very good active season for him if he does decide to stay in Bayern Munich. Xabi Alonso proved himself and we know he is a smart coach from what we saw in the last season from Leverkusen, he is choosing a player for the next season to even improve his team. Leverkusen had good results in the European league and he had even the chance to play in the final match, also they got 6th place on the table in Bundesliga which means they will have a ticket for the next European league, Xhaka can definitely help Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso in the next season.

Yes indeed, an improvement that was certainly very great for Union Berlin last season. Because last season Union Berlin managed to be at the top of the Bundesliga standings even if only for a few weeks. It doesn't matter, although in the end Union Berlin could only end the season in fourth place and obviously, that position is not bad at all. Heartbreaking for us as a Gunner but have huge respects for him. He definitely was a great player for us. He saw some difficult times but he finished off his career at Arsenal way too strong. Wished he had stayed longer at Arsenal but guess he wants a different challenge now. Bayer Leverkusen is getting a very strong defensive midfielder who can attack well also. They really do need a strong midfielder and hopefully Xhaka is what they were looking for exactly. 25m is really a good buy for Leverkusen given his experience and how strong he is. A very good buy for Leverkusen in my opinion.

It would have certainly been great if he could stay for longer in Arsenal. But I believe that is not possible anymore. Him to Leverkusen is going to be good for him and Leverkusen as well. But Arsenal is going to miss him. Arsenal had a great run with him. After all, I can also say that he is finishing off with Arsenal strongly. He could easily have an English Premier League trophy while he is exiting the club. But it is what it is. Let’s hope for the best in his future endeavors.

I agree that Union Berlin played an extremely impressive and succesful Bundesliga season but i also think that the last season was only an exception and it would be pretty naive to really think that Union Berlin can fight for the Bundesliga title again in the coming season. Looking at their suqad i think it is more likely that they will have to fight to not be relegated down to the second division then fighting for the title. After an exceptionally good season there often comes a very bad one afterwards.
