Only 3 more games in the German league and then we know who has become champion. Bayern is beholden to common sense to become champions, but Dortmund seems to have to do it this season. In recent years it has never been more exciting and Dortmund has never been so close as it is now. They actually already gave it away, because they were loose in first place but suffered unnecessary loss of points. Normally Bayern Munich will not give away this first place in the ranking, but everything is different this competition it seems. Union Berlin of Freiburg will also play CL next year, that must be a dream for those clubs to be able to do that. The difference to Bayer Leverkusen is 8 points, that's a lot.

I'm not sure who will win this game and it is possible that a draw is the result in this game. I agree because Bayern didn't have such a wake up call in a very long time. Only in the season 18/19 they were quite head to head and Bayern had to win the game had to tie their last game in order to win the Bundesliga title. Although it was also only 2 points between Bayern and Dortmund after 31 games, it still was a different situation because there was less noise surrounding the "crisis". It's a very interesting league indeed. Dortmund have lost so many extra points this year that they probably haven't come close to having that many titles in recent years. Still, they left 2 more points away from Bochum tonight. This generosity will make them lose the championship. Bayern Munich will most likely not lose any more points.
